Bed Bath and Beyond

I am not a fan of this store. Crazy — They have way too much stuff. It’s tall, wide and packed to the brim with over-​priced clutter. I went in there to find an eye mask and found it on my own eventually, but I was lucky, because finding any one particular thing in this place is a needle in a haystack. I have no interest in visiting Bed Bath and Beyond at any location in future. In fairness, some people do like it, so perhaps a matter of personal preference.

Love this place! Soooooo much stuff! Awesome selection of anything home related! Sign up on their website for discounts. Random 20% off coupons are great. Some stuff is marked up quite a bit so watch that you aren’t paying too much.

I can start out by saying I’m a habitual person, so when I have to go to a new location of a store, it messes with me, as I don’t know my way around the store. LOL.
Was in the area running errands, so no point going to Brentwood. Same selection, just different layout. We had gone during the day, so parking wasn’t bad.
Didn’t find a lot of sale people to help, but we were on a mission. Just took time to know the lay of the land.

I agree that their aisles and parking lot are congested… you can barely fit a shopping cart down the aisles. But they have a ton of product, and even though it’s packed in, the store is clean, well-​organized, and items are where you would expect them to be (unlike our Canadian equivalent… ehhhmmm Home Outfitters!). I have found some awesome home organization products for every room in the house here!

My husband has banned me from going to Bed Bath and Beyond. Every single time I go, I end up buying an item I think I need but my husband thinks that the store is just organized and so strategically designed that it’s tricking me into thinking I need almost everything in their shelves. With the number of items from this store I haven’t used in months, he’s probably right. Aside from being organized, this place is also bright that it wakes you up and gets you excited to do some shopping as you enter. This place is filled with pretty things and I feel like a kid in a candy store! Like with towels, I already have a lot of them at home but their towels are so soft, arranged by color and folded neatly that I always want to bring some home. The only complain I have is that they have to do better with assigning their staff’s stations as I find most of them to be in the checkout and dining/​kitchen areas but not a lot in the bedroom or bath section.

Yes, it is a little congested in here but unlike some of its competitors, things tend to be where you’d expect them to be as everything is well organized. There are the right number of sales folks around too to help if you need it, although they don’t seek you out. I’ve made a few purchases here from little kitchen gadgets to larger purchases (new bedding anyone) and I have found the level of service and selection to be consistently good.
If you are shopping for bedding, know that they are an American company so instead of double they have «full» as a sizing. This seemed to be confusing many a patron the few times I’ve been in that section but the sales staff were quick to explain. Note to head office: you might want to update your signage for the Canadian market as to not confuse your customers.
All in all this store has never let me down and I find it far less chaotic than Ikea, Winners and Home Sense can be (don’t talk to me about Home Outfitters as they are dead to me).

Bed Bath and Beyond is a great place to shop. I know that I occasionally pay more when I shop here, but there are attentive, kind staff. Great return policy and coupons for 20% (on your most expensive item) available.
The item I was looking for on the weekend wasn’t in stock. The associate ordered it for me and waived the shipping free. It’ll arrive in a couple of days and I won’t have to go back into the store unless I need to make a return.
BBB makes shopping easy, and they have unusual gifts for the people that are hard to shop for. My next purchase is a banana slicer. Makes the process easier. Love that :)
They also have a gadget section and a pet section, in addition to everything else you may need for the home. They also have great hours. Open to till 9pm even on Saturday.
I love shopping here and a five minute «quick trip» can turn into a hour quite easily. Make sure you check out the clearance section. You can find some great items!

I came here to quickly grab a couple of things. I wasn’t sure where the specific items were, and it was difficult trying to find staff that worked there. After giving up on trying to find staff, I made my way through the store in search of what I was trying to find.
A fair warning — if you are claustrophobic at all, don’t go into this store. It appears as though they are trying to cram more products into this building than they have room for. Between tight aisles (some of which were only wide enough for one person) and up to the ceiling stock, it would be a nightmare!
If I ever need something else at a Bed Bath & Beyond, I would definitely go to another location.

I was pleasantly surprised at this store. Everyone was friendly and knew where everything was. Staffing levels were appropriate and their return policy is excellent.

I popped in here today to have a look see. They do have great selection, but I didnt spot any real bargains. If you have ever been into Home Outfitters, or Linens and Things (no longer in business, may it rest in peace) they are virtually identical. Same floor plan, same product displays everything.
What I do like about BBAB is that there are some nifty things in stock that are usually only available in the usa.
Time will tell if I grow to like this store… I love sales and bargains… and there were not many to be seen here today. I will check out again… and may update this review. Dont let me dissuade you, check it out and decide for yourself! :)
