I came in about 20 minutes to close on a Saturday staff looked like they were in a meeting. I immediately got service and was fitted perfectly. The store stayed open for me to finish my purchase and finish it perfectly didn’t feel rushed or pressured. I’m really happy to have great fitting bras specific to me. I’ve been to a few specialty bra shops and out of all of them this one has been the best thus far! I was in dire need of a proper fitting nursing bra and they carried several brands in many sizes, even the harder to find ones. The staff is very personable and ready to help. After trying on well over ten bras I found a great nursing bra and also a regular glamorous bra for when I didn’t want to feel frumpy on a night out. No need to look elsewhere if you’re in need of hard to find sizes. They also have a great selection of swimwear as well.

I had the most upsetting service a a different store trying to find a bathing suit. I called BraTopia in tears asking if they carried bathing suits in my cup size. The sales clerk assured me that they had many suits in my size and to come in and try them on. When I went in, the gal i spoke to on the phone immediately started pulling bathing suits in my size.
She got it right!
There were bikinis, tankinis and one piece bathing suits all in my size. There were literally a dozen swim suits that fit me perfectly! The staff was friendly, professional and extremely helpful.
Rest assured busty ladies, if you want professional service and a product that fits perfectly, this is the store for you.
I also ended up getting a sports bra that properly fits and has major support. No more bouncing for this girl.
I am sold for life! I will be back for more bathing suit and bra purchases.

Who doesn’t love a Calgary owned business! Great selection and service! Perfect for ladies of irregular shape and sizes. Oh wait… That’s everyone!

Finally fed up with the tyranny of my ill fitting bras, I went to Bratopia to remedy the situation. I was taken care of efficiently & sized perfectly. The service was great. The bra I ended up buying was $ 70 — reasonable for something so well made. They also had lots of pretty bathing suits! Can’t wait to go back for more. Thanks!

Got breasts?
Well I do, and finding a bra that fits properly, supports the girls, and looks good can be pretty hard for me. I’ve kind of resigned myself to the fact that any bras I’ll buy will be in the practicul, but kind of boring colours of white, black, or beige/​nude. At least that’s what I thought until I came to BraTopia.
BraTopia is a bra store in Calgary on Edmonton Trail, just a couple blocks south of 16Ave/​TransCanada. For Calgarians this may or may not matter, but I’m from Edmonton and I always get lost in Calgary (the street system between the two cities are totally different). BraTopia was really, really easy to find, so plus a million bonus points to BraTopia for being easy to get to. In fact I could find my way back there, and I wouldn’t even need a map/​smartphone/​gps.
There isn’t parking available on Edmonton Trail, but the side streets had some parking. The store on the outside doesn’t look like anything amazing, but like many things it’s not what’s on the outside, but what’s on the inside that counts. And inside BraTopia is a really nice lingerie boutique. There were a few people in the store, and just one sales lady at the time, so it took a few minutes to get a fitting, but good things come to those who wait.
Not only did I get properly fitted, and find a bra in my size that fit well, and was supportive, but the bra I bought just happens to be in a colour that is not white, black, or beige. Woo hoo! Seriously folks, first time this has ever happened, and just to add the cherry on top of the sunday of awesomeness that was this shopping trip at BraTopia the bra was on sale for $ 65. Considering I was expecting to pay $ 100 for, «another boring bra» this was a pleasant surprise.
Unfortunately I won’t be back in Calgary for a while, but whenever I do make that road trip down south to Calgary I’ll be going on another shopping trip to BraTopia.

BraTopia, You’ve done it to me again.
I decided in the fall that perhaps I was being too harsh on BraTopia — Maybe it was just a bad day for the sales associate, maybe they were under a lot of stress from the Groupon. It had been a year since I had been measured so I decided to give the store another try.
Two years ago I was a 32E. The younger girl working measured me at a 30 °F and then said that she would suggest that I go to a 28G. I tried the 28G and she asked how the fit was. I told her the band felt tight, but the cups were full. She said that the band feeling tight was completely normal and this was my «perfect fit». I ended up buying a Curvy Kate in 28G. I ended up buying a couple of different 28G bras from other places as well.
After 3 weeks the band was still tight, by the end of the day I couldn’t wait to take off my bra! There were deep red marks but I decided to push through, that eventually the band would loosen up.
They never did. I gave up in January. I had a drawer full of 28G’s that didn’t fit me.
I wound up losing weight recently and have been measured by other stores as a 32DD.
After two negative experiences I’ve decided I won’t be giving this store another chance.

Went into the store knowing I was a 34 G, Owner was very friendly and I let her know what my size was and what my price range was (as a student I really appreciated that she respected this!) She let me know that I was a very popular size so the selection was not as good but she’d help me find what I was looking for. Gave me a wide variety of styles/​colours. The only downside was that after the initial set of bras she gave me that were my size, she started to bring me E and F cups which really did not fit or feel right. I’m not sure if this was because they just didn’t have my size in those styles or if she thought that they might work, I guess I felt like now that I know my true size I would really rather avoid trying on more ill fitting bras. I did walk away with a really wonderful fitting black one though and she was super friendly and attentive for the whole experience! I will return but I’m going to check out the other lingerie shops in the city first.

It’s summertime, and it’s been a good 4 years or so since I’ve invested in a nice swimsuit for summer. Today I decided it was time. Lo and behold, what is the first thing that pops up in a Unilocal search for swimsuits? Sarah Louise’s review ranting and raving about the wonderfulness of suits at Bratopia.
Do you want a full suit? A tankini? Full on bikini? You’ve got your choice. Have some busty tatas to fit? Not a problem! There were tops I’d swim in. Figuratively! Ha! Mix and match, different colours, different patterns, different cuts, underwires or not… take your pick. And the tops? No smalls, mediums and larges here, no ma’am. They’re all done by bra size. And price range? I saw some tops or bottoms starting in around $ 45, all the way up to sets going for $ 150.
And help? The ladies here are on it! Finding sizes, talking about the different styles, checking in on you in the change room, oh yes. No longer shall I be buying swimwear from places that don’t specialize in garments worn close to the body.

After misplacing my favourite bikini top whilst in Victoria, I’ve resorted the last few months to rotating my moisture wicking yoga bras with painfully mismatching swim suit bottoms. Yes, I realize that this is unattractive, but as I swim mostly for athletic purposes in facilities where no one cares, I’ve always found this just fine… FUNCTION OVER FASHION. Until my friend from out of town requested that I join her at the Banff Hot Springs this weekend, and I realized how unbecoming my current swimwear is. I stopped into Bratopia hoping I might find something awesome.
All of their swim wear tops are sized in bra sizes as opposed to the traditional 6, 8, 10, etc, and range from sizes A-​JJ (I think that was the largest I saw, anyways). After trying a couple on, I decided on a tankini top by Curvy Kate, as it was the least «bra-​ish» looking suit I tried on, and was an adorable teal leopard print. As none of the bottoms were really my stye, I opted out as the salesgirl and I both agreed that a plain black pair would do it well and I could find those anywhere. I also picked out a prettttty new spring coloured bra at well, and received amazing assistance with fit as always.
So, not only does Bratopia have awesome lingerie, if you have issues finding the perfect swimsuit like I do sans-​sleazy-​hip-​hop-​music-​video-​cleavage, then this is your place.
I also accidentally left my scarf there and they saved it at the front counter for me to pick up. :)

I rushed into BraTopia knowing what I wanted and walked out with something completely different.
My friends at Espy got me switched over to more expensive bras, realizing dropping an extra dime or two will get me a far better fit than I could ever find by stuffing myself into a D from the usual retail spots, like La Senze or La Vie en Rose.
Dawn, the manager, gave a cheery greeting, even though the clock was ticking past 5 p.m. and it was time to get home for dinner.
I explained I was looking to replace my black balconette that suffered its death when an underwire came poking through.
She selected four different styles and directed me to the dressing rooms. She helped me ensure each style fit properly and explained the fit, style and adjustments of each bra.
I settled on a $ 125 convertible bra. Yes, the straps can switch to racer back and strapless. These styles are difficult to find when you have a jaw-​dropping, eye-​catching E-​size rack.
BraTopia offers ‘bridging brands,’ meaning they fill that gap between the aforementioned retail brands and the more expensive brands you’ll find at the *other* lingerie shops in Calgary. You’ll be spending anywhere between $ 30 and $ 130 at BraTopia.
It also specializes in cup-​size swimwear. No more wondering if these jugs will be falling out of a ‘large’ halter-​style swimsuit.
I can’t wait for my next visit to BraTopia, to start building a real, solid foundation for my jubilees.
