David Aplin I have to say the first time I worked with them were great. They always called back and the ladies that helped me were very friendly.
My second time working with David Aplin was absolutely horrible! I talked to a girl and she was so friendly and told me about a few opportunities she had for me and that I am a wonderful candidate. After a couple days I called to check in and left a message. She never called. For 3 weeks I tried to get in contact with her and each time the front desk told me she was working. I sent her an email wondering if she was receiving my phone calls and still no response. I eventually sent her another email telling her how disappointed I was with her and the company. Still never heard anything. I would never work with David Aplin again. They came so highly recommended but I would never recommended them to anyone.

I have worked with David Aplin on and off for more than 10 years. This is one of the best employment agencies going. They have offices across the country and continue to expand into new markets, which tells you they are doing something right. The consultants are professional and good at what they do. The jobs they recruit for are of high quality. I have not been disappointed with David Aplin in any capacity and would recommend it to both anyone looking for work or for any company looking to hire great candidates.

I completely agree with Adam B. I have had some contact with a limited number of recruitment agencies in Calgary and can say that David Aplin was by far the most professional I have dealt with.
From the outset, it appears that they are a much more proactive recruitment agency that focusses much more on the importance of the preparation for interview — this is something lacking in every other recruitment group I have ever used.

Headhunters (recruiters hate that term) can sometimes get a bad rap. I worked for a recruiting company a few years ago, and I know from experience that they all vary. All though I am not a recruiter I have worked with many.
David Aplin Recruiting is excellent. When the recession hit hard, I was need of a job after a layoff. Within 2 weeks of registering with Aplin, I had a job. My recruiter Lara Montgomery was excellent. She assessed my job requirements and worked hard and fast for me to get me employed. A real go getter, she recognized that being unemployed was not fun, and got me back to work quickly.
Like most of these agencies, in addition to your interview with your recruiter you will be required to do some simple online assessment tests. You can do them from home online, very convenient.
I was and I am hopeful others are as well, treated with respect and care. I utilized Lara again at David Aplin when I was looking for a career change recently and I have now ended up in an excellent company. One of the things I like about Aplin is that not only did they find me a great job, but they encouraged me to think outside the box career wise, and it has been amazing.
Their offices are located right downtown on the 32^nd floor and the views are amazing! This agency works hard to find you work… excellent company.
