This is practically the definition of «hidden gem», to the point there aren’t even any signs outside of the building. If you didn’t already know it was there, you’d probably never find it… I know I didn’t, and part of my job happens in the building connected to it. Once you find it though, this place is really worth it. Not only do they have a full service deli counter with everything from sandwiches to burgers and I can’t even remember what else(but there’s a rather large menu hanging over i), and a convenience store-esque lineup of chips, chocolate bars, gums, etc. against the far wall, but at the end facing out is a section of refridgerators housing cold sandwiches, fresh fruits, salads, yogurt cups and other healthier choices… and up at the counter with the cash register is a large set of plastic bins housing baked goods from muffins and danishes to AWESOME home-made(or at least it seems like it is) chocolate chip banana bread. The best part of all about this little gem, however, is the prices. I can usually have breakfast for about $ 2.50, and lunch for under $ 5, and all with making healthier than normal choices. How often can you manage that? Granted, I haven’t had anything from the deli counter yet(I tend to assemble my selections out of the baked goods, fuit, the occasional yogurt, etc.) The slight downside is that the couple running this place are fairly new immigrants and don’t speak the best english, but they make up for it by being very friendly and eager to help. Also, they don’t have a debit machine, which is strange… but considering how low their prices are, I can kind of understand. It’s still good to know before you go, however. I docked one star for how difficult the place is for new customers to find, the debit issue and the language barrier, but trust me, if you can find this place you definitely won’t regret it!
