WOW! First time in Calgary and I ended up here by accident. I started at a shoe store where I asked a sales associate to recommend a place to eat. At first she was neutral and answered generically. But after I pushed her a bit she said. «okay well if you want fresh steamed veggies, with well seasoned meat on top of rice Japanese style, then you have to go to Edo». I responded with… «You had me at fresh.» and so I went to Edo. Oh the wonderful smell. I smelled it before I even saw it. Not sure what it is but fresh cooked food just smells so different and wonderful, leaving you with no doubt that it is fresh. When I saw it i saw the men cooking the food for another customer and i was sold. I asked the cashier to recommend a dish and with no hesitation he said«#5 Chicken and Beef($ 8.69) add Shrimp(+$ 3.49). You’ll love it and you will come back.» I said okay and handed him my credit cared. A few minutes later the food came out. It was super tasty, the perfect seasoning and the perfect amount of shrimp. All in all it was great food and now I hope they look in to opening some in Las Vegas as I know they would kill it.
