«Elliston Park: home of Calgary’s annual fireworks display — GlobalFest»
The park is located in the deep SE along 17th Avenue SE next to the East Calgary Landfill Site and contains a 20 hectare storm water retention pond, playgrounds, picnic tables and an off-​leash area. If you look closely you might spot a fish or two.
Elliston Park takes roughly 45 minutes to an hour to walk around the whole park starting from one side of the pond and back again.
I’ll update the review when it’s GlobalFest weekend!

It used to be a garbage dump and now they have fireworks there. What could be more awesome?
