With 40 years of running successful salons, our academy was designed out of a need to have students more skilled and better prepared for the industry when they graduate. After training many successful stylists we knew what we wanted out of a new graduate in our salons, and it just wasn’t there — so we created it. Our goal is to raise the bar and provide the best most relevant education to our industry this is why are program is ever evolving and improving to give our students the best and set them up as leaders in our Industry. Not only are our programs tailored to what is needed in a future stylist we also offer first-​rate instructors who have relevant and current experience to offer our students.

History

Established in 2005.

Eveline Charles opened her first salon, Bianco Nero, in 1984 after 10 years in the beauty industry. Her extensive knowledge of the industry and affinity for business allowed Eveline to expand Bianco Nero and create the EvelineCharles Salon & Spa in 1999. By 2005 she had turned one salon into an empire of nine, opened a beauty Academy, and became a household name in cities around Canada.

In 2008, EvelineCharles ventured into a new age of beauty. Expanding her business beyond salons and spas, Eveline incorporated advanced esthetics and medical beauty procedures into select EvelineCharles locations. Alongside licensed medical practitioners, Eveline added Beauty MD to her empire.

The EvelineCharles brand is not only known for its services and facilities, but is now becoming a market leader in product production. Now with over 20 signature product lines, EvelineCharles’ skin and hair care products are available to the public and to beauty industry professionals across North America.

Eveline Charles, founder and CEO of EvelineCharles Salons|Spas|Beauty MD|Academy, is one of the most recognized names in the Canadian salon and spa industry. She has grown her privately held business from a one-​woman operation to a multimillion-​dollar corporation bearing her name.

She began her career in 1974 when she chose to study hair design. Ten years later, her passion and determination led her to open her first salon, Bianco Nero, in Edmonton, Alberta. Her extensive knowledge of the industry and affinity for business allowed Eveline to expand Bianco Nero in 1999, creating the first of nine EvelineCharles locations.

Throughout her career, Eveline’s determination, energy and creativity have allowed her to conquer all aspects of the beauty industry. From a small town girl to a world-​renowned businesswoman, her success story is an infinite source of inspiration for beauty industry professionals and Canadians alike.
