We have been around for many years but one thing remains constant — we are dedicated to bringing the joy of dance to every individual, regardless of age, size, experience or skill level, and through this make them a little bit happier, a little bit healthier. Whether it’s dance instruction, fitness or African drumming that you are after, we have something that will help you find your happy place.

History

Established in 1988.

Free House Dance Plus was founded in 1988 by director Kathie Bernard in answer to a need for a quality, non-​competitive dance studio with a personalized, «feel good» environment.

In 1991 serendipity brought the school to it’s current bright location to accommodate both a growing student body and faculty. The reputation of the school has steadily grown and the successes of the students stand as testimony to the effectiveness of its training programs. The staff has been carefully augmented over the years to maintain high standards and offer a broad spectrum of dance styles.

Business Owner

Ms. Bernard brings almost 30 years experience in dance instruction and as school director to Free House Dance Plus. Her multi-​faceted background, comprising the disciplines of dance and business, provide a strong balance of quality instruction in a secure, continually expanding and creative environment.
