I could really do without McDonalds. The only thing on their menu that I will consider is their latte but it is low on the list of places I would get a latte from in Calgary. Recently, a friend brought me a McDonalds breakfast and it was terrible. The regular coffee barely had any flavour, the mc muffin tasted bland and unpleasant. I took a sip of the coffee and a bite of the sandwhich and tossed it — not likely poison, but not edible. My friend was not offended, they agreed. McDonalds was always McDonalds, but I think it might be getting worse quality wise. McDonalds is just a glorified vending machine. I would not be surprised if in future that it becomes fully robotic. That is if people still want the crappy food. The staff is great generally

Unfortanitly this Mcdonalds happens to be the one closest to my house. Of course they serve the same food as any other Mcdonalds so basically the only thing to review there is there service. Since I was a kid this has been the Mcdonalds ive gone to and the service there has always been crap. Seriously after that long of an amount of time you would think they would clean up their act by choosing to hire there employees more carefully. For starters they are so insanely slow. When a place is called a fast food place then that means the food should get to the customer in a reasonable amount of time. Of course they don’t get food to people as quikly as is expected and during the time that there pissing away there fries become stale. I cant number the amount of times ive been given stale French fries. People love Mcdonalds French fries but not when they let them become stale, when they do that they ruin perfectly good batches of fries. this is possibly the slowest mcdonalds ive been to and if you go there a lot of the time you will end up being frustrated.

Just like any other McDonald’s restaurant in the city, with the exception of a play area. If you come there around 4:00 pm or so on a weekday, you’ll most likely run into a ton of teenagers that just got off school. Having smallerish kids, you might want to avoid this place if you don’t want your kids listening to foul language. I don’t mind it if it happens once or twice, but when it’s loud and every other word is f’n this and f’n that. I get a little frustrated.

Drive thru at 11 to 12 midnight is absolutely slow. 15 minute waits. No reason given.

I’ve hit the drive-thru here a few times and the service has always been fast and friendly. There’s never been a long wait and I’ve never been parked after paying for my order. Overall a good job, but nothing notable here that would make this a 4 or 5-star worthy review.

Top notch staff at this MacDonalds… especially the morning crew. I can rattle off my order for 4 every Sunday and they won’t miss a beat and I just fly thru the drive thru regardless of the lineup. Keep it up Ronald!

With a dozen check ins at this McDonalds, it is only fair I review it. :) As far as food goes, i honestly am not a coinnasseur of McDonalds menu at my age, although I certainly was in my 20’s! However, I am a huge fan of driving into work with an extra large coffee in my hand. I drink decaf, and recently, McDonalds started offering brewed decaf, so I am frequenting there a little more often. For whatever reason, the drive-thru at this Riverbend location is rarely long. It is right next door to the Tim Horton’s, which has a lineup almost out the door, so I have been choosing McDonald’s over Timmy’s when I don’t have the time. How is the coffee? Well for me, it is just fine. I like coffee that isn’t too strong(to me, McDonald’s is closer to the Tim Horton’s variety than a Starbucks variety). I’m no expert, but if a coffee is too strong it gives me gut rot, so McDonald’s is working well for me when I can’t get into Tim. This McDonald’s just underwent a huge renovation in May, so it is looking pretty spanky. Also, they have included Wi-Fi now, for those that would prefer to wire in. I’m generally using their drive through, so that will likely be lost on me. However, it’s a great idea for to include it, since many students have laptops and LOVE McDonalds. :)
