I love visiting Moonstone Creation to browse or to shop for great one-​of-​a-​kind gifts. All items are made by native artisans. The owners (a mom and a daughter) are awesome and can tell you exactly where each item comes from and how it is made. You are getting REAL art here, not knockoff look a likes made in Vietnam.

I wanted to find some native Canadian jewelry and art and asked the concierge at my hotel. It was relatively easy to get here on the 302 bus from the Calgary Tower. The entire shop is filled with authentic Indian art from different regions. I found a nice pair of silver earrings for my mom. If I had more money and a way to transport there were a few pieces of art I would have bought for my house. The owner is nice and took the time to answer all my questions on the different regions and people the art was from. I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in native art.
