Neva Perrotte – State Farm Insurance Agent

Like a good neighbor, indeed!
First of all, State Farm as a company got me not only the bare minimum personal liability coverage but collision, comprehensive, and even coverage for emergency towing service for HALF of what most other companies were quoting for the aforementioned minimum, but Neva on a personal level made things even more of a no-​brainer.
It’s been about a week since I started dealings with Neva and I’m still in shock. I was trying to find a way to get insurance set up within a VERY narrow time window, on a Saturday, during a long weekend. Most agents would laugh at the idea of even answering a phone call in this time period. In fact, I put this poor woman through about 5 – 6 major changes to our plan in terms of getting the insurance set up, all of which essentially expected her to either bend policies or go above and beyond the call of duty. Not only did she return every email within a couple of hours (far better than any other insurance agent I’ve ever dealt with) but she found a way to accommodate every stupid, ridiculous request I had. When I finally came in she was very friendly and accommodating, had all the paperwork drawn up and waiting for me, and when her office’s debit machine went down mid-​transaction (obviously not her fault) which caused an issue with my bank, she went as far as to run the machine’s settlement report and make me a copy to help me with the investigation process through the bank.
When it came time to finally get the job finished, I ended up being able to do it during a period when any agent in the city would be open, and Neva’s office was (the one downside) kind of awkward to get to without a vehicle, but I went through the whole turmoil of getting to the other side of the city just to keep my dealings with her, because she really is the best. I’ve never dealt with anybody from an insurance company: agents, customer call center, you name it who was even HALF as pleasant and easy to deal with as she is.
I absolutely can not recommend enough that if you’re looking for insurance, you at least give her a call and see what she can do for you. It’s worth it. (and hell, if you do, let her know I sent ya!)
