History

Established in 1965.

The founder, Walter Padgett recognized the need to tailor financial and tax services specifically for small business owners. After decades of working with small business owners, government and industry regulators, the Padgett model evolved and spread across the U.S. with hundreds of offices and thousands of clients. By 1987, Padgett established its Canadian roots. By following the same process of working with the CRA and industry regulators, the Canadian offices focus on the needs of Canadian small business owners. To date, there are over 100 offices coast to coast.
