ReStoring Data specializes in recovering data from virtually any failed digital storage media device, such as hard drives, RAIDs (any configuration or size), flash USB drives, memory cards (including monolithic), smartphones, and tablets. Possessing decades of combined experience, we offer comprehensive data recovery solutions from basic deleted photos to clicking hard drives, to the most complicated RAID systems, including Drobos. We have literally seen it all!

All internal work (I.e. replacement of the head disk assembly, platter swap, etc.) is always performed in our certified class-​100 clean room environment to prevent any possible platter contamination and to consistently achieve the highest quality recovery results.

History

Established in 2006.

Headquartered in Vancouver with convenient drop off locations across Canada to better serve its clients, ReStoring Data was established in 2006 and has become one of Canada’s leading data recovery companies. With technology constantly evolving, ReStoring Data has maintained its lead in the industry by regularly investing in research and development. Most recently we have developed our one-​of-​a-​kind Drobo recovery tool which has proven itself to be extremely valuable as we have been able to recover most Drobos thus far.

Meet the Business Owner

Noam K.

Business Owner

Noam is a tech entrepreneur with a strong passion to the IT and computer forensics fields.

While pursuing his B.S. in Computer Science in California, Noam was employed as a head product developer in a computer forensics hard drive data capturing manufacturing company. He was in charge of developing high speed forensics data acquisition and analysis tools used by security and governmental agencies worldwide. Part of his responsibilities was to train law enforcement agencies on how to use these tools, essentially teaching them how to securely and speedily clone a suspect’s hard drive. Noam’s skills were then directed to the data recovery field, when he was helping set up a fully equipped data recovery operation, which complemented his vast computer forensics knowledge and expertise. A few years later, Noam moved to Vancouver BC with his family and co-​founded ReStoring Data, an award winning and one of the leading data recovery companies in Canada.
