Ooh baby! That white hot chocolate. Please lemme get that on tap at home! Indeed the best cup of anything I have ever drank. The whipped cream is good too!

Attentive staff always greets you with a smile. Place can become a little crowded and squishy at times. Owner seems to be familiar with everyone who enters the store. Great tea selection. Parking is a bit of a challenge. We are regulars and will be back again.

This location has a special place in my heart because it’s where I had my first coffee. It was the summer of 1995, this location had just opened up and, a friend and I shared a chocolate chiller while agonizing over starting junior high school in the fall. Wait, this sounds like a bad teen movie, doesn’t it? Anyhow, now that I look back, this location is like every other Second Cup. It’s been renovated twice(at least) since it opened. There’s ample seating, it can get quite busy in the mornings and the staff are nice. It might be a little tight, especially around where you order the beans, wait for your drink and access the washroom, and, while there is parking, the lot is quite busy and there are a lot of people turning in/out right where this location is.

Left the kids with their dad during an activity outing and decided to go for a walkabout so I could have a mommy moment while getting some fresh air. What I didn’t prepare for was how cold it was outside and so the walk ended up being short as I happily discovered this little coffee shop in the distance waving me in. My frozen ears were grateful. Immediately I noticed a group of men in uniform seated at a table and decided if they were here they must have good coffee and it’s safe(lol). Always a sucker for a chocolate croissant I decided to treat myself since after all I was walking it off and it would go perfectly with my cappuccino. The little bit espresso, little bit milk and little bit foam was exactly what I needed to warm up from the inside out. I hovered for a few minutes to take the sting off the ears and then headed back on my merry way. Clean establishment and friendly staff. Coffee & croissant won me over. This Second Cup is kind of tucked behind a gas station in a strip mall so you might have to look for it, but it’s worth it.
