I’ve purchased 3 pieces from here. A decent sized bong that lasted a couple months and broke after being pushed over… understandable. Bought a mini bong and an ash catcher recently and they didn’t last longer than a week. Very nice staff but the product is not good!

Good selection and good prices but obviously the glass quality isn’t the best. We purchased a bong on sale, and as soon as we brought it home it tipped over on the table and completely shattered. We bought another one after awhile, a bit more expensive this time as well as a bubbler, so far they haven’t broken so I’m happy. Good buys as long as you be extra careful with them! The sales people are very helpful and friendly. The overall layout of the store is good as well!

The Smokers Corner looks like a high-end jewellery store masquerading as a head shop. The merchandise in their glass display cases positively gleans in the afternoon sun. Don’t they know that some of us that frequent such places have sensitive eyes?(But rarely glaucoma!) Regardless, Smokers Corner hosts a veritable bounty of bongs, and pipes and papers and assorted paraphernalia in their shockingly shiny, albeit friendly, place. In short, it’s high time you checked out the Smoker’s Corner.

Smoker’s Corner has to be the cleanest and brightest pipe and bong shop I’ve ever set foot in. If that devil wasn’t on the window giving instruction, you might even think there was nothing controversial about this establishment… It’s like the owner has thrown out the old stereotyped notions of a seedy, dark little cave as the only place to purchase pot-related paraphernalia and replaced it with this clean, illuminated, mirrored shoppe. They could be selling candy or hats or baseball cards with the set-up they have there. Instead, behind the glass showcases is a giant selection of custom made bongs and pipes that range from $ 10 to $ 700. But even the mid-size ones are cheaper than other places and they tell me they can probably fill any custom designs people might want to order. In one of the glass cases are zippo lighters selling for $ 15(good price) and in another is the largest assortment of rolling papers I’ve ever seen.(Things have changed since the old days, I guess, now they have papers that taste like fruit instead of glue…). In another case they have scales masquerading as cell phones and calculators and on top of those sits a stand with shiny bags of some naturally mild(and legal) herbs that will do everything from relax you to make you very tense… Anyway, I was in there for a few minutes and the place was hopping, so they must be doing something right. A lot of females were checking out the body jewelry which ranged from plugs to steel ornaments selling for $ 10 each or two for $ 15. Smoker’s Corner also has a large selection of hookah items for reasonable prices and the flavoured tobacco to go with it. The staff were also helpful and friendly with answering questions. Overall, this place is a cool little shop right in Kensington that’s worth checking out. For fun, as they say…

Considering I don’t smoke… uh…any type of anything… you get the gist of how amazing this store is by the fact that I couldn’t resist walking in. The window display is just so enticing it makes pipes look like treasures. Seriously, for a second I considered buying a bong just to put it on display in my place. SERIOUSLY??? Yes. Smokers Corner has such an impressive selection of pipes. They are not just ANY type of pipes, but as Dinah G. mentions, the majority of them are glass blown. They truly are works of art… and hey, they’re useful too, brownie points!!! Whether you smoke or not, everyone can surely appreciate the greatness that is Smokers Corner. They’ve got the widest selection of pipes that I have ever seen and to add to that, they are some of the most beautiful pipes I have ever come across in my lifetime. The service is great, the selection is unparallelled and the pipes themselves are extraordinary. I got one word for ya, SMMMOKIN’.

The Devil made me do it! A stencil of a devil in a store window caught my eye as I walked down Kensington the other day. Smokers Corner is officially the second store in Calgary and is less than 3 months old. This smoke shop specializes in a fine selection of glass pipes, papers and grinders. It is like walking into a china shop dedicated to the Pacheco. K CHIDO! The pipes here range from 10 to 250 dollars and what amazing models to choose from, an assortment of colours, styles, shapes and sizes and most of them glass blown. I was also shown some pop can stashers, a Calgary based company invented pop cans that unscrew so you can hide your particulars, the beautiful thing about these are they are properly weighted to feel like a full can of pop. Hey give me half a dozen! The store is so appealing, and shiny and sparkly, if you don’t smoke now you will after entering this shop. And for your misbehaviour today young man you must go and stand in Smokers Corner.
