Sobey’s – Evanston

I love this Sobey’s! It’s clean, bright, and provides an enjoyable shopping experiences. The employees seem really happy to work there and are genuinely helpful. The cheese ambassador is amazing and has gotten my autistic son to try new cheeses, which is incredible! This is my favourite Sobey’s in Calgary.

Great store, helpful and friendly staff. I was impressed with the layout, and in particular the presence of Caroline’s Carts available for customers with special needs kids. The only improvement I could wish for would be for a pharmacy at this location.

NEW store, spotless, great lighting, and super selection! This is likely the nicest Sobey’s I have ever been in and it was a pleasure shopping here!

Day, Hours. Monday, 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Tuesday, 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Wednesday, 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
We were there pretty late but at a convenient hour for us, close to home, around 1030pm on a weeknight. I liked how the store was laid out.
The produce had good selection and was of decent quality.
The deli area looked so well looked after. The bakery selections rivaled many private bakeries I have visited when it came to tarts, cakes, pastries and more.
In all, I liked what I saw and am anxious to shop there again and would recommend to our neighbors and friends.
There were deals going on (2 for 1 marinated chicken breast packages, 2 for 1 marinated fish filets for that week) that extended my shopping list and of course I spent a little more than I meant to. But I do know that I saved more here that I would have at Co-​op (my next closest grocery store choice) and I had a much better shopping experience.
I am one of those ones that enjoys shopping for groceries so a good trip means a good day!
Even the night staff checking us out was friendly and informative!
Will be back weekly!
