Starbucks

We were in this part of town
For a few days and kept revisiting this location.
Mainly because staff was great! Andrew was super friendly and helpful, had good recommendations and answered all our questions regarding coffee, food and the neighborhood .

Favourite Starbucks in the city.
Open late with all food options, and a good crowd of people.
Always very very busy though, so if you’re in a rush, probably not the best Starbucks to hit up.

This Starbucks is a great location for meeting up with people when you plan to go out on 17^th Ave. It’s also got a great window in case you want to go people watching during the warm seasons.
The coffee is particularly delicious in this location. They do something quite differently, they make the coffee in a different location. 17^th Ave to be specific. It’s Starbucks, I personally like the consistency of their Americanos and wouldn’t spit it out.

They haven’t a clue how to make a macchiato here.
Some staff are knowledegable, most are not. Expansion has proven to be the bane of a once better name.
There’s a patio on the second level which is its only redeeming quality.

Not much to say here, its starbucks Again!
This is the starbucks one goes to when your on 17^th and its late! as far as I know it is the one the starbucks in calgary that is open till midnight! So anyway I have plenty of fond memories here, I used to come hear after concerts at u of c and also just random downtown hangouts. Its no secret that I really like starbucks, with all the flack it gets from a lot of people I for one think its just fine for what it is!
This location always has good decent service as far back as i remember!

Can I tell you a secret? I had a first date here… *giggle*.
Don’t worry, I’ve since been back and I can be completely objective and honest of my experience there: It was great.
I LOVE the location. It’s right on 17^th Ave. It’s got one of the biggest Starbucks patios I have ever seen and the patio looks right onto 17^th Ave so you better believe that in the summer, it’s always packed.
In regards to the drinks and other Starbucks fare, they carry all the goods, and they are always served with a smile. The staff is used to the crowds at this location and they handle the pressure like true professionals.
Whether you’re headed over on a first date, last date or just a solo date, it’s a cool place to hang out. Lots of people, lots to look at, lots goin’ on.
