The Source Snowboards & Skateboards

Awesome, helpful staff. My husband is just starting to snowboard and we had no idea what type of equipment he should buy. Within 10 minutes his arms were full! He felt that they were very knowledgable about the gear and they explained WHY they suggested the items that they did… I also left with a new one piece ski suit… lol! We will be back to buy some clothes there one day… everything is very trendy ;)

Dropped into the store this morning looking for a longboard helmet, on the website they advertised the Bern «skate» helmet for $ 53.99 only to find out in the store that it is the snowboard Bern helmet on sale and not the skate helmet. Website is apparently wrong. Anyway, had a very helpful sale man assisting me. He showed me lots of helmets but didn’t end up having the one I wanted in my size. He offered to check the other store locations. He was very helpful! I already knew they had my size & colour choice at the Royal Board Shop (satellite location) so I just went and bought it there. I do feel better supporting a small independent shop, especially one that specializes in longboards. I will say the store on MacLeod Trail is at a good location and has a great selection of clothing, TONS of skate shoes too and longboards & accessories. I would buy something there if they don’t have it at Royal. I should mention it’s directly in front from the theatre, I had a little trouble finding it using my GPS.
