It’s ok! Nothing special or intriguing about this place or their food. They have few draught beers on tap which is nice. Food is typical pub food but I think they refried /reheated the fries or used old oil to fry them. Service is friendly. If there is no other place to eat, then this place is safe.

I got the ragu beef noodle stuff and my bf got the short rib sandwich. Fries were awesome but everything else was BLAND.

Stopped in for drinks and appetizers, staff was friendly and the food was great. They gladly made accommodations for my food allergies.

They are always definitely creative with their specials — I like that. I enjoyed their lobster specials!

Was expecting a nice restaurant, based on the menu. Instead, we walked in to a low end bar with little ambiance. Very sloppy, split drinks all over, no atmosphere. We left shortly after arriving.

The Kiwi adds great atmosphere and a different take on pub food. Good beers on tap and killer appetizers. They also do a great job when Cambridge does their folk festival. The only regret I have is that they got rid of their nacho platter from years back. Still irreplaceable.

The service here was outstandingly slow. I mean it took about 45 minutes for the entrees to come out. This is a good place to eat if you want to eat and chat with friends for a very… long.time. The appetizers came out quickly though. Things were pretty hit and miss. The crab cakes and lamb curry were quite good. The short rib ragu was chewy and plain. I didn’t really taste any of the claimed tomato. The glazed halibut was overcooked.

We had heard that tv productions often scout the downtown core for locations for filming so we dcided to check out the area, do some shopping and dine out. Kiwi is an exceptional restaurant with fine dining selections with very good presentation of food, quality, and prices. We were very pleased.

Have you been to Kiwi? If you haven‘t, you should reconsider. Hidden in downtown Galt, Kiwi is a must dine while visiting Cambridge. While the menu is on the smaller side, there is selection enough that everyone will find something that hits the spot. A large selection of beer on tap, specials and drinks rounds out what Kiwi has to offer. In fact, if friends from out of town come to visit, Kiwi is the first suggestion on where to dine. Delicious, spacious, wonderful service. Make this a must see on you list.
