We had a great time staying at one of the chalets. It was quite, nice and clean. The mineral spring tub was amazing, our little one loved it too. Overall a great place to enjoy with your family and friends. We enjoyed the sunrise from our chalet. Will definitely return in the near future.

The cottages where guests stay are comfortable, clean, and cozy, but not exactly modern & high end. And that’s just fine, because the natural setting is absolutely spectacular. For example, in our cottage the bathroom liquid hand soap came in a a squeeze bottle rather than a pump and some of the galley kitchen countertops were buckling(moisture probably). There are beautiful views of the ocean from most of the cottages. To get down to the rocky beach, there is a set of wooden stairs just across the road. The road itself is fantastic for jogging or biking along. I recommend turning right from the driveway and heading along N Beach Road towards the red government dock and the Fernwood Café.

While it has kind of a funky exterior/design this place is as comfortable and relaxing as it gets. Located on a lightly traveled road with nice views out at Wallace and Galiano Islands, the Salt Spring Spa Resort is the type of place made for retreats. The owners are wonderful emphasizing peace and tranquilty on thier grounds. The cabins are equipped with a wood burning stove, well-equipped galley kitchen, comfortable bedding and a salt spring fed spa bath. Consider one of the spa treatments too while you are there. Go for a bike, paddle, or run right from the resort grounds and then spend the afternoon having a message or spa treatment. This place will have you rejuvenated and relaxed in no time.
