The Good Food Company

A cute gourmet sandwich shop is how I’d describe it. They have a nice space and wonderful staff, as well as some pastries, soups, good coffee and tea and a rotating choice of salads and sandwiches.
In a given day, the choices are limited — maybe 2 soups and three sandwiches — but the choices change each day, so you never quite know what you will find.
Charming with solid offerings.
Would I recommend: It’s a great place for the lunch time crowd in the Albert Street area from about Kent to Bronson, so yes.
Would I return: Yes.

A great little restaurant in CP. The service sometimes is slow as they are overwhelmed and the kitchen is very slow but if you overlook that little issue then the food is very good indeed. Very fresh, quiches, lovely soups, one of which took me back to my childhood as it was a potato and leek soup which I haven’t had since I lived at home.

I’ve been to this place twice, both for brunch, and now for breakfast. I do appreciate the departure from the typical mainstream restaurant. The place is quaint and you feel like you’re a part of something special.
As far as this time around I ordered the hombre egg breakfast which was ok. The place was busy and as thus my breakfast took a long time to come out. I believe the service lacked because of this as well. Whats obvious when it does come out is that the eggs were cooked after something greasy as it has them hard bits all over it. Nothing to complain about the meat.
I’m going to try this place again for the breakfast. From what I remember of the brunch it was delicious. Mind you that was awhile back but I do recall it not being as busy.

I really enjoyed the great not good food. i’m vegetarian and had good choices. The owner Petra is really nice and very dedicated to good cooking for the last 12 years.
