Wow! If a barita is an indicator of how kind the folks are in a city.. this would have to be the nicest town I’ve been in. The Beanz folks are so kind! Heck, everyone in PEI, is amazingly friendly — even at 7:00! They have some of the best coffee, I wish I could have this coffee place near to my home in the city! They do have some lovely snacks on the counter and lunch specialties. Do not go to the«other coffee places». Stroll through the town and enjoy the vibe in the shop.

I can’t rate this coffee shop highly enough. I’m sort of glad I don’t live in the area as I’d be here all the time. I’m sad I don’t live in the area because I’d be here all the time. Great coffee, atmosphere staff and food.

Great coffee shop/bistro! Coffee is always great! Excellent soup, sandwiches and salads. Nice that you can order half portion combinations. The sweets are delicious and sharable in some cases. Haven’t had my favourite«Hello Dolly» squares the last couple of visits. :( My favourite haunt whenever I visit Charlottetown.

Great service and pretty good food! The steamers were a little subpar and the portions slightly smaller than average. But the food was still really good.

Just what we were looking for! A relaxed place with coffee, almond milk, gluten & dairy free options for breakfast and an awesome patio to sit with our dog. I had the Breadless Breakie(egg, hummus, avocado spread over baby spinach, cheese omitted) and BF had the breakfast burrito. Shared an energy bar, yummy healthy treat made with dates & no sugar :) Two Canadianas(coffee with espresso) and a sunny spot on the patio. No desires to leave here! Especially with free wifi!

The restaurant is wonderful. It has a hipster feel to it because of the décor. The staff are super friendly. Their chicken breast sandwich is awesome but their chicken vegetable noodle soup stole the show. Their coffee is also very aromatic. The price is also very reasonable and the atmosphere is quite nice Move over Starbucks, there is a new coffee joint in town. Support your local coffee joints!!!

This place is a very affordable, high-quality, and conveniently-located coffee shop/restaurant in the middle of Charlottetown. Nothing very fancy, though the food is consistently good. Great atmosphere, including abundant seating. I’d come here again easily.

I’ve had lunch here a couple of times. Wilson K’s review says it all, I think. The sandwiches are homey, just like the atmosphere. Nothing fancy, but very comfortable. I had the chicken soup today, and it was very good.

Hours are odd, but the food is wonderful. I love the atmosphere here. It’s very conducive if you’re having a small get together with someone, or a quick meeting.

The five of us were all totally impressed and debated between giving it a 4 or a 5 as a café. Let’s start with the coffee: outstanding and with the full range of choices. Next the sandwiches and paninis: scrumptious with creative combinations eg chicken and pear panini, although when we arrived at 2:00 they were out of a number of the paninis. Salads were fresh and crisp. Chicken soup was a bit bland and light on ingredients — I like my chicken soups to have actual chicken in them. Desserts were excellent, we can definitely recommend the chocolate mudbar and the oatmeal raisin cookie. Service and décor both lovely.
