Description

Specialties

Lobster on the Wharf is a full service restaurant specializing in fresh local seafood. Our adjoining MacKinnon’s Lobster Pound ensures we have fresh seafood daily. We also have a land lovers menu and an excellent children’s menu. Lobster on the Wharf offers a full service bar, an excellent dessert menu and an extensive list of local PEI cuisine.

History

Established in 1981.

First opened in 1981 by Jim and Helen Larkin on the beautiful Charlottetown Waterfront. Lobster on the Wharf has been serving up the best PEI has to offer for over 30 years. The best patio in Charlottetown literally sits on the Old Ferry Wharf. The ferry used to transport people and products from the capital city of Charlottetown across the Hillsborough River to Rocky Point. This historic property just changed hands with Steven Larkin, son of Jim and Helen, purchasing it from his parents in January of 2014.
