Being an Indian myself I can say this is the best Indian restaurant food I’ve ever had. Very fresh and authentic to home made cooking! Prices are pretty decent. Went there for lunch. Look forward to exploring more on the menu.

I was rather skeptical about trying this place initially but was very pleasantly surprised with the wonderful food. The portions were actually big enough and filling enough to split between myself and my girlfriend which also made this choice cost effective. The butter chicken we ordered with rice was zesty with the perfect amount of spice. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone regardless of whether they have tried Indian food.

A splendid small husband-and-wife owned and operated restaurant cranking out flavorful, authentic Indian dishes prepared with loving care from scratch using fresh ingredients. The service is personal and attentive and you will leave feeling satisfied that you’ve stumbled upon a treasure — a veritable jewel — in the Chatham restaurant scene.

Fantastic food, great service. I ordered the butter chicken and asked for it to be prepared on the spicy side. It was perfect! Paired with an order of Naan, I wanted to eat more than my stomach allowed. I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant.

One of the best Indian restaurants around. We drive all the way from leamington just to eat here. Great food and the owner takes pride in her business. She really wants you to enjoy the taste of Indian cuisine. She will custom cook the food to your taste. Should also note my wife is vegan and this restaurant had many vegan selections on the menu.

One wouldn’t think of great Indian food when thinking of Chatham but Spice and Curry ranks among the best Indian food I have had in Ontario(it’s certainly much better than anything in London). I’ve been twice and have been pleased both times. I like spice and medium is the perfect level. The décor is modest but the staff is courteous and the food is fanastic. I had the chana, paneer with peas and butter chicken and can’t complain about any of it. Finishing my leftovers now and thinking an hour drive to go back isn’t really that long is it?

Très bon le goût, le service est aussi très amical. Une soupe, un plat de curry poulet avec deux nann est suffit pour deux personnes. Je reviendrai de temps en temps. J’aime beaucoup ce petit restaurant!

Only Indian place in Chatham so no other choice for Indians. Food is not good at all. I have ordered the beef curry with rice. Rice was not even boiled properly curry is just a tomato sauce with too much salt. Shame on them to cook the authentic Indian food like that.

Good Indian food at a good price. Friendly service. Don’t expect fancy décor. Do expect generous portions.

Love this spot. My standard go-to meal here — butter chicken, dahl makhani and basmati rice — such a lovely blend of flavours. Staff are lovely, friendly, and very happy to help you sort through the options and find items you’ll truly love. Indian is a comfort food for me so it’s hard for me to deviate from my favourites… but sooooo much is lovely.

We had a small group here for dinner. The place was packed but caught one of the last tables. Service was swift and attentive. Another great new gem of a restaurant in Chatham. The food was very tasty and had excellent flavour. I’m new to indian food but as a new convert, I’ll be back for sure!

New Indian restaurant, which was long overdue in Chatham. Prices are reasonable, portions not huge but satisfying, and above all, the food is excellent. It’s a very small place and we witnessed prospective diners being turned away because of how busy they were, so reservations are recommended, but they also do take out. Very friendly family/staff; we wish them well and hope they’re successful. The lamb masala is excellent, by the way… just make sure you order some of the aromatic basmati rice with it and a piece of butter naan bread… Mmmmm… can’t wait to go back!
