Bought a Remington 870 from them expecting to get a new shotgun, but they gave me the freaking display model. I demanded that they give me a new one from the box, but they refused and insisted it was fine. Well, I found scratches and rust in the bore that I couldn’t see without tools in the shop, and they won’t take it back. This is a potentially fatal problem (and expensive), and they wouldn’t even take responsibility. Thanks a lot.

Reasonably sized shop, with great staff and a good selection of hunting and fishing gear. They also take guns on consignment, so if you’re looking to get rid of something old, for something new, they can look after you. Perhaps the best reason to come here though is the helpful staff. I’ve never had a question about hunting, fishing or shooting they couldn’t handle. Some gun store employees can be a little ornery, so it’s nice to see such great customer service, and genuinely helpful staff.

If you’re a hunting or fishing aficionado then this place is well worth the trip. Out of all the similar sporting stores in the Lower Mainland, Chilliwack Dart & Tackle is by far the best. While the selection isn’t quite as extensive as others the friendly and knowledgeable staff more than make up for it.
