Very knowledgeable, great selection of plants, great Facebook page, and get on their email list– the newsletters are wonderful. Bought veggie plants, herbs, stevia, lilac trees and more. They sell Christmas trees too!

This is a little gem of a place just off Highway 2. I first popped in during a visit to Claresholm just before Christmas and not only found a nice little Christmas tree for a reasonable price but a store chock-a-block with garden accessories and décor plus a huge display of Christmas decorations! The owners were friendly and helpful. I’m back in the area and made a beeline for the store and spent a happy hour wandering around enjoying the greenhouse. They have a good supply of hanging baskets and planters although they weren’t as creative as the ones I see back in the BC but this is rural Alberta after all. They have a wonderful selection of potted herbs, well established and healthy. Lots of garden tools and décor plus a great selection of one of my favs: kitschy garden gnomes. Again one of the owners was on hand to greet me, offered assistance and chat. This store is a true delight to visit and I suggest making a stop if you are making a trip on Highway 2 between Fort Macleod and Calgary. I’m making one more stop there before the end of my visit to get me a gnome!
