If you’re expecting exquisite and thoughtful cuisine, don’t come here and write how you were disappointed. It is what it is: a place for locals and snowmobilers to stop and get a bite and a pint. You can tell from the menu that the food is plain and simple. I liked that all the sandwiches were topped with a pickle on a stick. Very cute. Ambiance is homey and definitely mom and pop with a little bit of vintage lamp charm thrown in for good measure. We both had the fish and chips which probably were frozen, but we were starving and it hit the spot. Wasn’t bad. Hard to screw up chips. They could have been crispier, but we finished almost all of our food. Nothing amazing, but when you look at the menu, you can sort of tell that about certain things. Service was excellent and our server was helpful with directions and recommendations for places to see.

Absolutely the most bland food I have had in years. No seasoning no salt no pepper no nothing on any of the food we ate. Most of it came out of a can or a package. I can’t believe there were that many people there on a Friday night!!! ROBERTIRVINETHEYNEED Restaurant impossible!!!
