Hold on to your cowboy hats and say «hello pie!» I had no idea this place was here until someone told me about it today. (Even stranger still I’ve been just a few steps down the street to Mackay’s for ice cream.)
Their lemon meringue looked like a tall work of art and the Texas buttermilk sounded intriguing. However, the lonely piece of pecan pie in the display was calling my name. Buttery, gooey and delicious with a properly carmelized top, the whole thing was delicious.

We discovered the ‘second part’ of this store by chance while strolling around Cochrane.
The ‘pie shoppe’ offered a variety of good looking pies and I can tell that what we had was yummy! We have to come back to try the other ones…
