La Paloma Authentic Gelateria & Cafe

The gelato was delicious

For place is empty and the FOR LEASE sign is up!

30 Celsius & Sunny. What could be better than some Gelato? I have always known of La Paloma inside Vaughan Mills as a window SHOPPER, however I have heard of La Paloma just outside the mall on the outer rings Strip Plazas.
I decided to do a SEARCH&RESCUE mission to finally locate where «This» La Paloma is located and to rescue myself from the heat. I found it tucked in the CORNER spot in one of the plaza where Faema, Starbucks, and Marcellos are located.
It looked small-​ish inside but has a perfectly BALANCED décor where the mix of colors make this an Ice Cream place while a bit of upscale furniture/​electronics make it adult friendly. A Large LCD was inside showing a Tennis game.
A single friendly staff greeted me as I browse through the EXTENSIVE selection of Gelato, however there is a bit of category where there’s a section of Fruit flavours, another Nutty Flavours, etc…
I let my guide do most of the selection as I asked for recommendations on 3 flavour COMBINATIONS. I paid and took my cup to the PATIO, awesome patio space for enjoying Gelato looking up at the blue skies and a few white clouds. What’s more is that the Patio is directly next to the Marcellos Pizzeria Patio.
As I sat at the Patio where I could swear if I didn’t have to go somewhere afterwards, I would have just relaxed and SNOOZE there all afternoon. Patio furniture looked nice and COMFY (photo attached).
I taste the FICO (FIG) flavour and it was nice as I usually do not eat Figs on a regular basis, my favourite of the 3 flavours. The Pine Nut flavour was A-​OK and the Panna Cotta was creamy.
BTW, there was a small LCD pinned against the window showing towards the Patio so it’s possible to watch Tennis if you’re not into the whole staring into Blue Skies type of person.
