EM Beautician School and Spa

I was given a gift certificate for Japanese massage for two, so we went there with my hubby. Everything was great, massage, people and atmosphere! Music of the nature in the massage room was a bonus, it relaxes me even more! The place is clean, modern and the staff is very friendly! Hubby liked it too!
I went there one more time for spa mani and facial, and it was awesome! After I came home my mom noticed that my face looked cleaner and fresher! I met the owner Mina, and she was very nice to me as well, I will definitely come back!

Hi I just finished my 6 month esthatician school and I got hired in a very high end salon and spa I am so happy to have met mina the school teacher at em beautician school she went well out of her way to teach us customer service and to ensure clients are happy some girls are Asian and can’t speak well English that comes with the course she teaches ESL so if you find the students are rude which they aren’t it’s because they aren’t just learning esthetics but English as well! We all have to learn somewhere and some people are better then others but it comes with time I have been a hairstylist for 9 years so I’ve had cosmetic training before and Mina is so wonderful I will miss each and every student and staff because they were so loving and big smiles every morning what a warm place to learn from thanx em beautician school for the excellent training for it leave with confidence knowing I am the best and am gonna conquer esthetics! Watch out world here I come!!!

I’m a student of «EM Beautician school» and i’m so happy that I chose it! We have very professional training, classes are small, so learning is almost one-​on-​one. Tons of practice and our questions are answered all the time. Very friendly and fun atmosphere. Our principal, Mina, is wise and professional teacher! I recommend the school for everybody!

I just visited this spa yesterday to use my Dealfind certificate that gave me a mani/​pedi/​facial. I’m surprised the business isn’t listed here on Unilocal yet, as 75 people purchased the deal. But looks like I’m the first to review.
This business is owned and run by a single owner, Mina. They offer full esthetics services done presumably by students. I’m not sure what they’re teaching there because I’m sitting here with the WORST mani/​pedi I’ve ever had in my life. It’s uneven, bubbled and polish on my cuticles and surrounding skin.
The appointment started off bad, they had my gf and I booked in for a massage, and argued with us (despite the fact that we booked using the Dealfind that clearly says mani/​pedi/​facial) about it for 5 minutes. We finally moved past it to start getting the services. They began with mani/​pedi work, the water to soak my hands and feet was cold, and the polish selection was dismal. The bottles were almost empty and thick gooey polish was all that was left. Some of the bottles had been thinned out to the point that they were the consistency of water and reeked of remover. It was tough to chose a color so I went with the most full bottle of unaltered polish I could find.
We were moved to the facial rooms to get that service while our hands and feet were polished. The facial wasn’t bad, my friend had a very nice student working on her and I had the owner. I wonder if these people who run deals on groupon etc. even care about getting repeat business? Mina had the roughest touch I’ve ever felt and made it very obvious she was rushing the process so we could leave.
Then, after laying there for 45 min getting a mask, etc. some new student came in the room to add my topcoat. This was strange to me, as we were almost done and I was then immediately instructed to get up and get dressed. I’m not sure why she wouldn’t have added the top coat 30 min ago so it would have time to dry. On top of that, she was using a bottle of top coat that was so worn down the polish was coming out in big gobs of stringy goopiness. It sat on my polish and bubbled immediately. Then of course it smudged as I was trying to get dressed. I showed the owner and she told me to fix it myself. As I was attempting to fix it I saw the bottle of topcoat was actually base coat, and that there was a brand new bottle of topcoat right beside it! Why the heck would she not have used that bottle instead of the disgusting base coat that had nothing left in it anyways???
I would NEVER return here, and feel bad for the students that are acutally tpaying to get such crappy eduction from a women with no manners and people skills.
