I used to go there often but not anymore. I rather go to one at the guilford mall in surrey. More products, bigger space and better service. My mom went to the bay in Coquitlam to buy her cosmetics after her work. When she asked them a question, people who worked there totally ignored her because she didn’t look nice. If you go there, I wish you luck with getting the attention of the people who work there. Some people are nice but most of people whom I met were very rude.

The manager in the shoe department does an amazing job and the bay is lucky to have her. Was returning some shoes and was easy experience.

My boyfriend purchased a Michael Kors watch from the bay last April and now the clasp doesn’t close. We took it to the bay and they said they couldn’t do anything because we didn’t purchase the warranty. Although when we got the watch the lady said there will be a 2 years warranty. Anyways. Talked to the manager. She was so rude and disrespectful that I was shocked! I couldn’t believe how she was treating my boyfriend and I. She was so angry and didn’t want to help at all. She took the watch and came back and said she would talk to the store manager and call us back. So we went home. Received a phone call from her saying they contacted Fossil and the watch could be exchanged. We went back an hour later to do the exchange and she had gone home for the night so we talked to the jewelry associate and she said the only way you can do the exchange is if you buy the warranty. «YOUHAVETOBUYTHEWARRANTY». Excuse me? We asked for a manager and she repeated the same thing. So we said forget it and walked out as the warranty is another $ 100 and the bay gives you such a hassle in order to fix or do anything. Next day my boyfriend phoned back and spoke to Janna(assistant manager) that was helping us in the first place. She said just come in and we’ll just swop out the watches and it’s fine. We went back in the evening and was doing the watch exchange when the jewelry associate said there’s a difference of $ 50.00 because the watch you have scans at a lower price. I was getting so angry. What are you talking about its the EXACTSAMEWATCH! SAMEUPC, same price! She than slammed the new watch on the counter and walked away. Came back 15 mins… LITERALLY15 mins later… And re did everything for the same price. With so much anger and attitude and threw us the receipt on the counter. Asked my boyfriend to sign the paper and than complained as to why his signature looked the way it looked. Are you kidding me? Worst place to shop at! Return/exchange/warranty policy sucks!!!

I will think twice about purchasing any clothing from the bay again. After buying a cotton sports top, I wore it once and the loose fitting sweat shirt type top stretched right out of shape. So I decided to wash it and throw it in the dryer in hopes that it would shrink back to shape. No such luck. So with receipt in hand, one week later, I returned the item back to The Bay, or so I thought. The cashier had to phone their manager and she was instructed to tell me that, since I wore it and washed it, they could not refund my money. What! The Bay, in other words, do not stand behind their products. Their is no” satisfaction guaranteed. «Not even an exchange. This will be my last purchase from there.

Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service. No one acknowledges you. All too busy walking around trying to look busy and talk to one another but not too you. Out of everyone that I walked by or talked to only two staff members were friendly and answered my questions. For a store that prides itself in regards to their customer service, they probably should try working on it and bit more. Just saying. The store really does have beautiful selections of stuff, but a store needs to offer me more than just stock.

Came here in search of some 2010 Team Canada gear for the Olympics. In fact, all I really wanted was a Canada hoodie. I was laden with hard currency and ready to spend, spend, spend on overpriced yet awesome Canada gear. They had nothing aside from one Yellow t-shirt in my size and one blue boy’s shirt that will hopefully fit Hilary B. Otherwise, they were cleaned out… with one week left to go in the Olympics. Bah.
