Not great by any measure. The staff member was friendly though. I won’t be returning. I have had better frozen pizzas cooked at home on a pizza stone. Costco makes better pizza. There are several other restaurants in this strip mall to choose from, and several other pizza places within a few minutes drive.

Let me start by saying I LOVE pizza. I frequent these franchises and have always had great tasting pizza. Today I stopped in to get a few slices to go and was so disappointed when I arrived home. The slices were so hard from sitting in the warmer they really should have been discarded. I’m not impressed and don’t think I will go back to this location after that experience.

Gone was the Taco Time and in its place is Pappa Leo’s Pizza, a welcome change for me living in an area where pizza options are limited. Pappa Leo’s is now a chain, this being the third one, of pizza places in the tri cities offering delivery, pickup and eat-in. They also do pizza by the slice. I’ve ordered take out from here a few times now and so far i’m pretty happy with them. Pizza is not at all greasy, decent crust and they usually are ready with your order in 10 – 15 minutes. While you can eat there it’s more of a eat and run kind of place, don’t expect a movie date night by candle light here. Parking can be a pain if you are just picking up on a busy weekend, a pickup only reserved spot would be nice. I think it’s a $ 2 charge for delivery, haven’t tried that yet since I only live a few blocks away.
