Smart Set

I’m on the border of star rating for this review — service was easily five star, merchandising was four star, but product is about a three… so I’ll average.
Hmm… good or bad first?
Merchandising (four star): super easy to shop, for the most part. They pack a lot in to the space here quite effectively, and it was clean.
Merchandise: Smart Set produces stylish yet conservative pieces, not top notch quality, but not the lowest. After my initial gander through the store I went and pulled eight items to try on (yay for good merching), but their quality has taken a bit of a down turn this season — I found the sizing to be inconsistent, and although the cut/​tailoring is good off the rack, I found seaming flaws in a few items I tried.
Customer Service: I as helped by an awesome associate, I wish I had gotten her name to give her a shout out. I was clearly there in a mission and she let me get away with having more in the fitting room than I was supposed to have, as someone who finds leaving items outside a room annoying as all hell and has never stolen in her life, this was so appreciated. I ended up not getting anything, although I will probably go back for a pair of trousers and a sweater I tried, I felt bad, this woman was so helpful without being annoying.
Smart Set will remain on my list for affordable «I want to wear this this specific season» shopping, and this one is my favorite thanks to the great service I receive compared to others. But I am disappointed about the drop in quality of construction.
