History

Established in 2006.

Started in 2006 by owner Georgia Lloyd, she wanted to do something that mattered — something that made a difference in the lives of Nova Scotians everyday. Home care was that outlet, servicing seniors and elderly folks all around the HRM. From humble beginnings and a small staff, Always Home Homecare has grown into a reputable home care agency located in Downtown Dartmouth.

Always Home Homecare was created in 2006 by Georgia Lloyd, a lifelong resident of Dartmouth in the Halifax Regional Municipality. Georgia has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Bachelor of Public Relations. With those degrees and a 20 year sales career, Georgia wanted to do something that mattered and entered the field of senior care with a determination to be there for clients when they need it most. For many people, staying in their homes in their later years is extremely important to them, and Georgia and her staff work very hard to make sure it happens!
