The fried chicken and the burger are still on my mind. They were super yummy! I wasn’t a huge fan of the short rib but everything else was awesome. The atmosphere is cool and very casual. The service was fast and our server was lovely.

I went here the other night after wanting to check out this stop since it opened up. First impression, very cool spot. Great selection of local beer and good food. This isn’t much of a surprise since it is a partnership between the owners of Brooklyn Warehouse and North Brewing Company. Well done… The space is pretty busy during the weekends, from a discussion with the staff the weekends are pretty much full up, with lineups out the door in the early hours of the evening. We were lucky as we got in just as a table was leaving. Décor was great, with exposed beams and chalkboards showcasing beer and food. The staff was also really great. Friendly and full of suggestions. There are lots of drinks to choose from and they really know how to recommend beverages that will delight. Great spot for someone living in Downtown Dartmouth, or someone that wants to check out the scene on that side of the harbour. Fantastic addition to the city and the neighbourhood.

Food was hands down the best. Best burger I’ve ever eaten and 15 unique beers on tap. Server was fast friendly and overall had a great experience.

Everything has meat in it(including a dessert) except for the carrot soup. Usually I can just have nachos or a side of fries at restaurants with no selection. There are also no substitutions, so I couldn’t improvise. I wasn’t in the mood for carrot soup, so we left. I really, really wanted to like it. I’ve been following the owners on social media for months. Very disappointing.

A place that Dartmouth really needed. Fantastic beer and awesome small plates. Will be back many times!

A new addition to Downtown Dartmouth. At the opening night bash the place showed its colours for the first time. The street level is the brewery which greets you with the big stainless steel tanks. Up the stairs food and fun takes place. It has a nice warm feel with lots of internal variety. The bar is on one side with a dozen taps numbered and labelled. The centre of the room is full of elevated bar height counters for leaning on. On the back wall are tables and chairs for a more refined beer drinking experience. Opening night had a full range of beers. The in-house special was a dark ale with chocolate and maybe a hint of tobacco — but there were other beers from around the province. Also unique to the Eatery are the small delicious platings. Lobster with fennel, scallops on pear, ice cream with amaretto. As noted in an interview with the local paper — no chowder nor fish and chips. So if you are looking for standard pub fare — keep on walking.
