Hallmark Carpet One Floor & Home

This is a very good store with a huge selection. I have been here twice, and I have been to the previous Hallmark Carpet One store on Illsley Avenue in the past. This new store on Highfield Park (just down from the Atrium furniture stores) is much much bigger than the old one. There are many types of flooring here. I was surprised at how big it is and how many different samples they carry.
There is a comprehensive selection of hardwood, laminate carpet, vinyl and tiles. The flooring in the store changes often so you actually get to experience wood and tile and vinyl underfoot, and I really like that idea. There is also a very large display of nice area rugs hanging at the front of the store.
The sales people I have met so far are helpful and experienced, and not pushy, and I found them easy to talk to. So this helped me gain confidence that we could work together..
I found the lighting in the store a little dim, as sometimes it is a little hard to make out the true colours of what you are looking at. They suggest you take the samples to the window to see them in natural light.
