Founded in 2008 and based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, HR pros provides strategic human resources management services and advisement to businesses, local governments and the not for profit sector throughout the Maritimes.

Our team brings together Human Resources Consultants with a vast amount of experience acquired in the public, private, and not for profit sectors.

Meet the Business Owner

Sylvain A and Tanya S.

Business Owner

Tanya has a Bachelor of Arts from Dalhousie University and an Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management from the NSCC. In 2000, Tanya was certified as a Diversity Trainer. She has delivered diversity training to more than 1000 participants in five countries.

Tanya obtained her national human resources designation, the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) certification in 2001. Tanya has won a number of awards including: the national John T. Ryan Safety Award (for two consecutive years), the ACCESS Nova Scotia award for creating an environment of inclusion, and the USG Award of Excellence.

Sylvain brings over 30 years of leadership and management experience acquired in the public, private, and not-​for-​profit sectors. Sylvain holds a Bachelor of Arts from Dalhousie University, a Bachelor of Military Art Sciences from Royal Military College, a Master of Public Administration from Dalhousie University. Sylvain is president of the Francophone Chamber of Commerce of Halifax
