After hiking around Burn’s bog, we are at Gawa Sushi. I ordered the salmon sashimi while pointing at and meaning the Atlantic Salmon sashimi. The server didn’t clarify which salmon sashimi I wanted and brought the sockeye salmon sashimi instead. I didn’t bother sending it back. It was a bit more expensive but good. The chopped scallop rolls were also good. My husband was not so keen about his chicken ramen which he found salty. It didn’t leave any sort of impression on him and he wouldn’t order it again(2.5 out of 5). Service was otherwise good. $ 26 for this dinner.

Chopped scallop roll was very good-fresh. Also the tuna sashimi was also fresh and delicious. The Seaweed salad was slightly frozen in parts and sunomono was a bit too vinegary.

The wife and I moved into the neighborhood recently and have been pleasantly surprised by the food here. It’s nothing spectacular but is usually pretty good and the service is quick & friendly as well. Overall good value!

My experience was dreadful. The service poor and customer service was a ZERO. I love Sushi but will never recommend this place to anyone. Also, too expensive.

Good sushi at a good price! I like eating here as it’s close to home and offers nice food and friendly service at a good price. Takeout is a breeze!

Was good but nothing special. Had agadashi tofu which you really can’t go wrong with and a special roll(can’t remember what it was called!) which was pretty good. Décor was nothing special at all. Rather expensive for the food though.
