Seccond time here-​first time in my opinion was better. We had the illuminate salad (came with julienne beets-​which was a nice change to a starter salad) honey mussels (amazing and highly recommend!) and the spaghetti and meatballs (slight letdown)
The second time (tonight) was a lot quiter as it is a Sunday, and we again had the honey mussels and then I asked the waiter whether he suggested the mushroom risotto or the gnocchi with a light cream sauce, peas and purcuitto. He said that the risotto was rather plain so I went with the gnocchi. HUGE mistake. I prefer lighter courses and this «light cream sauce» was artery clogging. I had 3 bites and stopped. The waiter asked me how it was and I said that I was disappointed he then brought me out a half order of the mushroom risotto which was FABULOUS! Very nice dynamic flavour and not plain by any means. I found the gnocchi to be heavy and more bland than the risotto by far. Highly recommend the risotto!
Overall nice ambience, but best to go when it is busier in my opinion!

Amazing food, the owner us an excellent chef and knows how to operate a restaurant. If your having a party of 7 to 10 people try to get the back room. Prices are fair for the quality and service offered.

Very tasty food but found the restaurant a bit noisy. That’s a very small complaint though and won’t stop me from coming back. Great to have such a great eatery in Tsawwassen.
