Just got back from a wonderful fishing trip at Peregrine Lodge. Peregrine is located in the Queen Charlotte Islands /Haida Guai. It is a lodge primarily devoted to fishing, although it seems that they are(unsuccessfully) trying to diversify into kayaking, whale watching, and even paintballing. The staff and guides are terrific. The food is off the charts terrific, and includes lobster, prime rib, and all sorts of deserts that will leave you going to bed stuffed. One thing that they really ought to do is to increase the base price, and then not ask for tips and make odd nickle and diming charges. For example, the trip cost $ 5,000. You can drink unlimited whiskey and alcohol. It costs $ 5.00 to have a latte. Wha?
