We checked out of our hotel
from downtown Vancouver and took a seventy dollar cab ride over to BC Ferries Tsawwassen terminal. Ouch!
After we checked in our luggage we couldn’t wait any longer (starving) we needed to grab some grub to hold us over.
There was a crapload of people in standing room only (no vacant seats) and several lines formed.
Right before boarding the ferry for Victoria we picked up some water, a sandwich, chips and a slice of banana bread here at the SNB ferry Café by the boarding terminal on berth 5.
The server/​cashier moved frantically back and forth to tend to customers. She was definitely shorthanded as It got crazy but she did a great job!
It was smooth sailing from there…
