Louise D.

Business Owner

With over twenty years’ experience in British Columbia’s Spa Industry, Louise brings a vast amount of knowledge to the Skin and Body Therapy department at Vancouver Community College. Louise’s resume includes working with and managing teams in mid-​size to large day spas. Ongoing contract work training Estheticians, Aromatherapists and other Skin and Body Therapists in various modalities of massage and body treatments.

Consulting with new spa owners to help them build their brand. Louise is one of the founding members and co-​president of E-​SPABC, an association that provides a voice to all members of the spa industry.

Louise has spent much of her career as an educator in reputable private and public schools teaching and inspiring new Estheticians and Skin Therapists.

She has served on a professional advisory board to help strengthen the level of training in BC and served for 3 years on the Personal Services Industry board, commissioned by government to evaluate the current state of th
