When we moved to an acreage we had no idea where we’d go for Chinese food. We decided to try House of Goodys last year and it’s been our«Go-To» ever since! Not once have we been disappointed with the food OR service. And the quantity is awesome for the price you pay! I will add that my husband and I are not picky eaters; however, we do like GOOD food and that’s what we’ve gotten every time we’ve ordered from here!

With all the Chinese restaurants in Devon, it’s hard to choose just one. I haven’t been here in years, and there’s probably a reason for it… We used to come here years back with my grandmother for smorg every so often. They had these pepper shrimp that were to die for! Now, when we go, the bins are never full of food. You go up there, and get literal scraps, if anything at all. I understand that smorg can be quite expensive, but when it’s a busy night, and there’s nothing to eat. The food, when you order off the menu is actually not too bad.

Dropped in on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered from the menu and the food was ready quickly and was very tasty.

We just had Goody’s today, and I was impressed. We shared the hot & sour soup, dry ribs, chicken fried rice, Kung pao chicken, and wontons. The food was good, and the service was great!

Quality of buffet food is disgusting. Arrived at 6:15 on a Sunday and buffet is served until 8 p.m. Steam table did not appear to be on as food was cold and very minimal amounts. Waitress continually reassured that more was coming out but perhaps one item was refilled. Ginger beef the size of a toothpick??? If you appreciate good food, you will be disappointed.
