I used to work there like almost 6 years ago now and there’s still some people that are working there. The Manager and another employee there are really knowledgable and have a really friendly, yet professional approach with their clients. It’s clean and I do mention that factor because somehow, we’re dealing with cheese, and when you’re dealing with food, there’s no notions«too clean». CHEESEINTHEWESTISLAND; How Much Does it cost? The great aspect with this Cheese place is that there’s not a lot of good place in the West Island! Without hesitation, it’s the best place in the West Island. I try to go as much as my budget and event comes but cheese is expensive. You can try the cheeses, but in order to do some purchases without spending too much, let’s just say that your average amount of cheese for a Fondue or Raclette is 200 – 250 g per person. 100gr average cost? 3 – 6 $. So please, when you announce the important factor: How many people, is it a main dish, how much is your budget? Is that budget tight? ENOUGHOFTHAT! Now the reason I like this place his also because they have fine local product, local liquor, cider and mead. Approximatively 100 – 120 kinds of cheese, and also great selection of supprisingly good Fair Trade Coffee. It’S quite a big place and a central place in the Marché de L’Ouest, but at the end of the day, you’re still going to like all the great local et fine product import. Small list in cheese? Gruyère de Grotte Brie de Meau Osso Iranty Etorki Great goat selection. Mozzarella di Buffala(yup kind of like Bocanccinis with creamier and buffalo milk! So great!) Hmm so much more pops in my mind! LOCALPRODUCTS Now people might not know that from the Province of Quebec but our cheese are freaking great, REALLY competitive with international market! Take care, enjoy your trip there!
