I ate at the A&W. I didn’t expect very much to begin with. Let’s be honest, we know what this places. But the food was even worse than anticipated. Oh, and weird cashier guy with the blonde hair, please don’t handle my food with your bare hands after you’ve been handling money. Hasn’t this become hygiene 101 in 2014?

Good Canada highway plaza. Clean restrooms and plenty of dining options with some souvenirs as well. Fuel is expensive if you come from USA. So, if it is a short trip top the tank of in usa. It has a few Wi-Fi with great range and speed, in case you come from USA and want to avoid crazy international roaming charges by your carrier.

On Route stop off Hwy 401 east bound. Well maintained, usually very clean and brightly lit. There is a Tim Horton-Cold Stone shop… you can get your Double Double or Iced Cap two ways, coffee or ice cream. A nice stop.

Wow! This is a Highway Oasis?!? FABULOUS! The ‘Onroute’ locations are great! This one in particular was VERY bright and clean. There are several different food options as well as a little store, and very nice bathrooms! I’m from Chicago, and used to some pretty mediocre rest stops. This one really blows ours out of the water — they’re beautiful, and fabulous! They make having to stop a delight!
