Tremendous service! Awesome professionalism. House had perfume scent blowing through ducting from previous owners. We are chemically sensitive so this was a problem. After cleaning, perfume has completely disappeared. Air flow has improved as well. Thank you!

The company has contacted me by phone to try and resolve the issue (see previous review). They offered me 10% off our next cleaning. Although I do appreciate their follow-​up we have made a commitment with another company and are sticking to it. I do appreciate the effort as this demonstrates good customer service. I am bumping them 2 stars.

We had one bedroom in our house that was always cold. To the point were we put an electric heater in the room. After we had it cleaned a couple weeks ago it’s the warmest room in the house. This wasn’t the first time we had it cleaned either.

Right from when I booked my service call to when the service men left, I felt informed and never felt pressured to be up sold for more services. Everything was explained to me clearly each step of the way. There were no surprises on my bill except that it was less than I expected. A very pleasant surprise, I may add!

I had my carpets done yesterday. Within 2 hours someone had already called me to check how satisfied I was. I hadn’t come home yet as I was letting them dry so I couldn’t say whether or not I was satisfied. When I got home I phoned them to say I wasn’t sure if I was being super picky but there area few areas I felt could be cleaner. They were immediately apologetic, arranged a time for a senior tech to come and look and even though I’m not totally satisfied yet, the courtesy from everyone I dealt with is the reason I am giving this business 4 stars. I also reads one reviews that their techs were pushy, I think mine was very informative as to what the extra services are and how they will benefit me but at no time did I feel pressured.

No company is a complete scam unless you happen to deal with African billionaires needing to park money in your account. Alberta Furnace cleaning isn’t in that league but they do have their faults.
First the good news. You can book on the internet and they don’t ignore you, they don’t make assumptions that your home in Alberta is the same as every other one, they don’t destroy your property in the process and they show up on time. The two technicians were polite and personable I really can’t say that about other furnace cleaners I’ve had in the past.
The bad news is that the internet advertised price is a bait and switch price. There will be all sorts of hidden charges on the bill by the time they’re finished. But, Hey that’s capitalism in Alberta, isn’t it? What I consider more serious is that the technicians turned off the pilot lights in the gas fireplace and the hot water heater, leaving me without any hot water for my laundry and dishwasher. It’s a good thing I discovered it before I stepped into the shower. the next morning. Also, they messed up the vent settings so it took several days to get the temperature around the house back in balance. I knew to expect that problem because every furnace cleaner I’ve had in the 28 years I’ve lived in this house has never finished the job properly in the way I expect.
After they were gone, I received a call from a chirpy woman with one of these dumb one to ten rating questionnaires that avoided asking about any deficiencies in their work. Maybe you like answering these surveys but I don’t.

They cleaned my carpet super well but somehow my $ 30 groupon turned into an additional $ 200 bill. Really sucked when I was living on a tight budget.

Recently had these guys clean our furnace and ducts. Positives… The two guys that showed up were polite and quick. They protected the floors and walls wherever they could. Negatives… One major downside is the company has these guys programmed to upsell upsell upsell. Not the workers fault for doing what he is told solely the companies fault. I questioned them on A/​c bypass charge, I saw nothing extra done so they took it off the bill. Tech seemed a little foggy on new furnace and AC technology.
That all said a average experience nothing to make me recommend them nothing to make me not recommend them.

I just moved to Edmonton and needed to get the ducts and vents cleaned at the house I moved into. Both my real estate agent and home inspector recommended Alberta Furnace Cleaning, so I opted to try them. I was very impressed with their service. Not only did they respond quickly to my website inquiry, but they called to confirm in advance of my appointment. Plus, the actual guys who came to clean the ducts were very nice, and explained everything in detail. They also wore booties on their feet so as not to dirty my floors. After the cleaning was done, I received a call from the office to confirm everything went well and was asked a few survey questions. I liked that they took the time to make sure I was satisfied and asked my opinion about their service. All in all, great company and great service! I would highly recommend.
