The buffet is not worth $ 65 for two people. Take your money to the Keg and have a better meal. For less cost. The crab and shrimp they advertise is all cold and cheap. The prime rib is OK but there is no potato side just dry rice and over cooked dry pasta and chicken. Very small salad bar and cheap desert options. Staff very old and uninterested. Bathrooms and location in general very outdated and old smelling.

We come here for the brunch and for the dinner. The brunch is pretty good, with an INCREDIBLESEAFOODSELECTION, the rest is pretty basic. They should really have more breakfast items like eggs Benedict. As long as they don’t change the sea food I will be happy. The price rib dinner is decent(or actually super crappy) the prime rib itself is tasty as well as the sea food selection, but the sides are terrible!!! Yuck!!! Thank goodness it’s so cheap!!! I really wish they would pep up their sides!!! Just terrible. But I guess if you want to pay 30 $ for a tasty prime rib, it’s worth it. Oh yea dessert selection is awesome. The chocolate fountain on the dinner menu looked a little hap hazard but the brunch one was running nicely. I would say this is a casual venue, nice for groups! Decent service!!! Never had a problem!

Food was great too bad our experience was ruined by the kids that were running around the restaurant I don’t know what was happening in the Palm room on Nov 14 evening but they must thought the room rental included free babysitting

I’ve only been here once but I was pretty happy with the experience. Like at most brunch buffets it’s very easy to overeat, but the food was pretty good on the whole. There were three types of mashed potatoes, and quite a few types of croissants just to list a few reasons why this buffet might have more variety than one is used to. It’s important to pace one’s self as there is so much to eat that it is clearly impossible to eat it all. Some dishes were better than others but the omlette station was pretty decent and I rather liked the chocolate fountain and the candied salmon among other options. Going early means that not as much stuff is sitting out for as long and fresher food often tastes better… that said if you’re too early then not all the food items will be ready so being patient becomes important. On a whole this is a good treat and provides a good brunch buffet but it isn’t the best or worst brunch I’ve experienced either.

Not the worst Sunday Brunch in Edmonton but not in my TOP5. Quantity vs Quality at this Radisson Hotel Sunday brunch. I came looking forward to the Sunday brunch. Who doesn’t like roast beef, shrimp and a chocolate fountain? The advertisements in the lobby looked good(see photo) and at $ 32 a head it’s not an unfair price. Unfortunately just like the food at the Lion Head’s pub, this Sunday Brunch was a poor experience where nothing was quite right. With one of the largest selections of choices at the buffet this brunch looks great on paper but unfortunately it’s just not there for quality. Starting from the top 1. The Carving station is dry and they will not cut you any piece except from the end. When you leave a piece of meat under a heat lamp, it’s going to get dry. When I left he was still serving off the same piece of dried meat. People coming in later were still getting the same piece of meat that was served for 2hrs. 2. The Eggs Benedict speaks for itself(look at the photos). Who leaves Eggs Benny’s in a warming tray with sauce on? Gross. 3.There were 3 hot mashed mashed potato tureens. THREE! Who needs 3 choices of mashed potatoes. The problem was, none of them were good. Gluey, as you can imagine from having sat there for hours . 4. The Omelette station looks great, and we tried it and noticed immediately these were not fresh eggs. I asked the cook and she said, they use liquid egg unless you specifically ask for fresh egg. The biggest problem with the ATRIUM is that it survives off of the teams and hotel guests that stay there. It doesn’t really have to try hard to do ok. If you live in the city skip this over priced version of a Buffet Royale. I’m giving it 2.5 stars. Why did it get 2 stars? Nothing stood out, not one piece of food Why did it not get 1 stars? Great Service Lots of Free parking around.

Phenomenal Sunday Brunch! Picture a chocolate fountain, tender roast beef, unlimited egg benedicts, and a seafood bar to compliment the ‘regular’ brunch buffet. The service was extremely friendly, and the atrium was full of happy families sharing a relaxing meal together. Great place for people connecting in an inviting environment with a delicious meal to compliment the lively conversation.

Ok I want to say that I did not request this place off hand, my partner’s friends did. I read the reviews before hand and had a feeling of what to expect. First off parking, because it is a Sunday and the place is not busy you can park anywhere but if you did not know then you would be confused with the signs saying«hotel guests only, register your vehicle in front desk». I drove around looking for the restaurant parking but there is none. We walked in and yes it is a beautiful atrium(thus the name(the atrium restaurant). I asked for a table of 7 and the host asked if we had reservations, I said no because I did not know we needed one(the place was pretty much empty???). He sat us down at the very edge of the place where I would call«no man’s land». To me I thought we looked pretty ok for a brunch buffet at a hotel(Sundays best clothing, no jeans.). Maybe it’s because we looked young which would be a very nice compliment. While waiting for the rest of our party we ordered a bottle of red wine and coffee. Our server was okay, she had our drink orders fast and correct but forgot about us during our meal. Our plates started to pile up and we only had about a couple of plates each through out the meal. Ok first I went to the salad bar and was turned off by how the wilted leaves look. The tomato salad looked very very old so I wouldn’t even touch the pasta salad. The fish looked unwell. . I went to the cooked side and had the veggies, cabbage rolls and bass fish. Then at the corner of my eye I saw coleslaw so I nab that fast(I need some raw veggies). I sat and started on the cabbage roll. Hmm mm. … It tastes like nothing with dull warm tomato sauce. The basa fish was over cooked and tasted like nothing as well. I think they may have tried to season it because they had seasoning and pieces of mandarins on top but still I found no pronounce taste. Coleslaw was ok, it tastes like coleslaw but not overly mayo ed up. I needed to feel like this place has to have something I like so I went back(not like my partner who only had bacon and a bit of hashbrowns). I saw the seafood with crab legs, mussels, clams, and shrimp so I tried one of everything. I saw they had an omelette station and an eggs benedict so I definitely had one of those for sure. Went back to try it all and was strangely disappointed, I wanted to like something but the seafood tasted old and seemed like it was defrosted yesterday except for the shrimp that was still half frozen. The eggs benedict was hard and over cooked and the hollandaise sauce was just not good. I went back for dessert and tried the apple pie in a cup, a velvet cup cake, and a caramel tart bar. I took a bite of everything and no just no. I don’t understand why I just did not like anything. I’m so sorry but I had Sunday brunch before at another place and I was so happy at the freshness of the food and this place was just not there. I read the reviews and I guess it may be a hit or miss place but I tried it and I’m not coming back. For the price you pay you can have a good meal else where. I’m giving 3 stars because I felt the server was nice and she tried to accommodate us as best she could. She came when our beverages where empty and filled our coffee. I’m sorry I am not coming back because the only part of my meal I enjoyed was the wine and the coleslaw. That you can get anywhere else and would probably be better(and not over priced). Just my honest opinion.

Went for the Sunday brunch, it was super yummy, all my favourites and more! The eggs Benedict station was great, that’s one thing I don’t like — Benedict’s that have been sitting on a steam table, hard and overcooked. They also had an omelette and meat station. The meat was a pork loin I would have preferred prime rib. For $ 32.95/person it wouldn’t have been unreasonable. I think the buffet was worth the price either way though. The seafood display was awesome, piled high on an ice tower, I got my money’s worth in snow crab alone! The only complaint I would have is that there were scales still on the smoked mackerel, other than that everything was fresh and delicious :)

We were here on a week night and the place was less than half full. I like all the plants. It’s actually a nice space. We had the beef tenderloin and the short ribs with the Black and White bruschetta for an appetizer. The food was all very good as was the wine. No entrees over $ 25 so the prices were quite reasonable. The service was friendl, y but off. Appetizers arrived in a timely fashion, but the entrees appeared only 5 mins later so it was a trick to cram it all on the table. Then we couldn’t find our waitress or any waitress for a drink refill and we had to ask for our bill twice. I only saw two waitresses in the entire place(and a manager), but they weren’t rushed off their feet so not sure why it was so hard to get their attention.

The sunday breakfast brunch is fantastic. My children love this hotel almost for that buffet. The lunch buffet is alright. The ‘menu’ food is generally good and served in decent portions; the buffet food is regularly replenished. Their regular menu for lunch or dinner offers nice selections and their wine menu is plentiful(surprisingly). The velvet seats need to be cleaned or changed out. Other than that, the service is attentive and staff is friendly. The atmosphere is nice as there are plenty of plants, a nice water feature and high ceilings in this pleasant café.

I went here on a Saturday with my mom and my boyfriend. The price was right so we thought, why not? The service was terrible. If you read my reviews, you have probably already figured out that I am very impatient. This instance was no different. I need my coffee in the morning! We sat there for almost 10 minutes before anyone came around to say hello and offer the coffee pot. Finally, we had coffee and we were ready to get up to the buffet and choose our goodies. I wasn’t amazed by the buffet, but I wasn’t disappointed either. The price was good so I was happy. The important breakfast staples are offered here: bread, croissants, bacon, sausages, pancakes, french toast, eggs, hashbrowns etc. My boyfriend had to ask for fresh pancakes because the ones that were out were stale and cold. Yuck. I left here feeling happy that we found a cheap breakfast buffet to go to. The next weekend we decided to go here again, but on Sunday. The price per person jumped $ 15! No way. No How. It was worth the lower price, but definitely not the higher one. Tip: Go on a Saturday for the cheap price, but never waste your money on the Sunday brunch here!

For some reason I thought Atrium Café would be better. The quality of food was really bad. It wasn’t fresh and it was cold. The brunch was actually terrible. The service was terrible as well. The server was really rude and high strung. It felt like she just wanted us out of there. She kept asking us if we were ready for the bill and we had just started eating. When we told her we were still going to be a while she gave us attitude. Just avoid this place.

I went for brunch at the Atrium Café this weekend(located in the Radisson Hotel). I have always held the Atrium Café as the best of the best when it comes to brunches in the city(I’ve been there once before but it was years ago). I was wrong. And I was very disappointed. There was a lot of food but the food wasn’t very good — the waffles were soggy, the ribs were cold, the crab wasn’t fresh, and it was apparent that the food had been sitting out for a very long time. We had just sat down with our first plate of food and a server came and dropped off our bill. She kept coming back — not to check on us — to see if we’d paid yet. It was awful! It was rude! It was uncomfortable! Do not waste your time. Don’t go for brunch here. It is not a pleasant experience.

I love Breakfast… I love buffets. What is not heaven when it comes to Sunday Brunch. If you are looking for a place… I would suggest the Atrium Café located inside the Radisson formerly known as the Coast Terrace Inn on the southside of Edmonton for those of you familiar with the city of Edmonton. Now this is the mother of buffets I think just for the place as a whole. You walk in to the tranquility of the fountain, you look around and see windows of suites, hopefully with the curtains closed so you don’t lose your appetite if you see something distasteful. You go and see the host or hostess and behind them you hear this lavish harp playing in the background. Ok… ok, lets get to the good stuff! I’m only writing for the FOOD! Alright let’s begin this crazy cuisine adventure… you got scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast sausage… mmmm…waffles, there is some hot lunch items that vary from time to time, there’s the seafood bar with smoked salmon, crab legs, shrimp… oh yes… cocktail sauce, there is other delectable fishes to choose from, mussels… EGGSBENDICT… for egg lovers, don’t you just love that bite into a nice soft and tender egg where the yolk is creamy inside your mouth… oh yah… when I said heaven, thats heaven… continuing further to the omellette maker… choice of spinach, shrimp, cheese, ham, onion, green pepper, bacon, tomato or a mix of any of the ingredients, your choice of breads like croissants, bagels, white bread, brown bread, buns… mmm…buns, there is the long row of salads and mixed fruits choices, the drink station for apple, orange, grapefruit, cranberry, milk and chocolate milk and finally the dessert area. You have various CHEESECAKES, cakes, J — E — Double L — O, and some other desserts. Now i would just like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the after dinner mints, the fortune cookies, and the candies that restaurants give with the bill. You know, whoever came up with this idea, its such a nice thought. With the Atrium Café they have a big bowl of candy, the little ones in the wrapper. Its a must to try one. Ok, that last bit got kind of cheesy I know, its not my usual feel for a posting. the Atrium Café, get some brownie points with the in laws, bring them here… let’s not talk about price… hehehe.
