It’s worth stopping at this Burger Baron just to take in the vintage location. I had the mushroom burger, which was very good. I’m looking forward to trying the sides and milkshakes in the future.

I have never actually gone inside, just because every Burger Baron I have been in lacks any real welcoming or cozy atmosphere — more of a come in, eat, leave type of feeling. But the food! The food is always so damn good! I had a cheese & bacon burger with fries here the last time I came for lunch, and I almost fell in love. Not sure what they put in their burgers, but they’re done right! And the fries are always awesome too. It’s a bit pricier than a few of the fast food joints, but it’s so worth it! They’re some of the best burgers in town! I Heart Edmonton

What can I tell you about the burgers here? They aren’t your gimmicks burgers filled with sirachu or guacamole. The Onion rings are actually a side dish and not in your burger. Their buns have no sesame seed and their patties are juicy goodness. If you are looking for a down to earth good burger this is the place to go.

What to make of this place? You go into this dinner and it is as if you have entered a time warp. The«resturant» looks like in was built in the 60s or 70s and never renovated since. A small, old tv sits in the corner showing a fuzzy picture. Looking south thru the windows you see broken, rotting tables that haven’t been used since god knows when. The atmosphere is a real change of pace from the uniform chain fast food resturants. But wow, the food is something else. An incredible array of mouth watering burgers, delicious home made fries, gravy and onion rings(BIG difference from the frozen ones the big franchises sell). And although their milkshakes are very expensive, they are a wonderful treat. I don’t know how the McD’s up the street can compete with this Burger Baron. There is absolutley no contest between the taste and quality of the food you get from these two resturants. If the stupid customers at McD’s on 75st only knew what they were missing from a few blocks drive or walk away, that Golden Arches would be out of business.
