Chianti Cafe & Restaraunt

I went here 2 weeks ago with my parents for lunch. The waitress had no clue what the specials where, she kept looking at the chalk board with them written on and still managed to mess them up, in general she was uncomfortable and awkward. We all ordered different pasta dishes both from the main menu and the lunch menu. None of them were really good, we didn’t finish any of our meals. The bread that came with the meal wasnt nearly as good as comparable restaurants. Wasnt worth the price, won’t be going back.

I’ve been going through nearby restaurants and seen there weren’t a lot of reviews for this place! I love it here, always good service and take out (yes they sure do!) try the deep fried cheese and the Alfredo with spinach noodles. Yum!!!

We all came in here last night for dinner, and I really enjoyed this place. The service we received was very good, we ordered the Bruschetta to start, then followed with the complimentary bread and garlic and herbed butter. We ordered the Chianti special house wine. Our main course Fettuccine Supremo which consists of scallops, smoked salmon, and curry in a light garlic and parmesan sauce. The sauce was a lightly colored cream sauce with just a small hint of curry. The taste was not over powering at all, I wished it would of had more of a curry flavor, and more scallops. But I still enjoyed it. Hubby got the Linguine Kitsilanos being the meat eater he is. His came with Spicy Italian sausage, mushroom, pepperoni, with a red sauce of garlic and tomato sauce. He really enjoyed his too. We washed it all down with another glass of wine. And unfortunately we had no room for any dessert. I rate this a 4 ½ *
