It had been a really long time since I had set foot into a Chili’s restaurant when I visited this one. And I was pleasantly surprised with the food quality: we had the 2 can dine for $ 30 special and it was pretty good. I really liked the individual chip style nachos they had as each chip had toppings. My fajitas were rather good too though I would have liked fewer onions and more bell peppers. The ice tea was also really good. That said… after we finished eating it was as if staff had forgotten about us(whereas service was pretty good until then). We had to eventually flag someone down to get the machine so that we could pay our bill. This was disappointing as I had otherwise liked the food.

I don’t know what it is about Chili’s, but I could eat there everyday. My favourite item is the Quesadilla Explosion Salad or the Chicken Fajitas, but I love many of their other tasty menu items as well. Over the 3 years I’ve lived in Edmonton, I’m pretty sure Chili’s is the place I’ve been to the most. Just can’t get enough!

Expecting to enjoy a fantastic meal Chiles was recommended by friends. This was my very first time eating here. I had ordered pulled pork tastados, which looked extremely tasty in the menu. Upon serving my meal I was presented my food by a waitress wearing long elbow level blonde hair that fell into my food before it hit the table. The cleanliness was minimal. Instead of taking a cloth to wipe the table and seats before we sat down the waitress decided to hand wipe the crumbs onto the floor. The floor was sticky with lot of crumbs and chunks of food. Not appetizing in the least.

Second time for a quick Friday evening bite. Was seated immediately, and served promptly. The service was exceptional and the food was very good. I will be a returning customer.

My boyfriend and I have the tradition of going to Chili’s on valentines day! It started after our resos at another place fell through a few years ago and the only other place we could find that would take us was Chili’s. We had such a good time there that we just stuck with it… it’s our Valentine’s Day place. :) If you guys have open table I would definitely recommend booking in at Chili’s. A lot of people don’t know that you can make resos at Chili’s and doing so will give you the 100 pts! Sometimes if we are feeling hungry after the gym, I’ll quickly make a reservation at Chili’s and get the points afterwards. Pretty simple way to get a gift card. Chili’s is tex mex, and it’s decent! The drinks are pretty good and the service is good. I’ve never had a problem at any Chili’s location and people seem genuinely happy to work there. I really like their cocktail menu and trying their concoctions! You know what else I really like at Chili’s? The deserts. One thing I would make people wary of is some of the entrees and deserts are served on hot plates. Let me tell you that these plates are not hot… these plates that came directly from hell. Do NOT touch them.

I always get lunch from this location to go as it is near my office and I don’t have the luxury of time to stay. The food is good however their take out boxes are a tad bit hard to eat from as they have really high sides. It is difficult to cut the food at the bottom of the box. The staff have always been pleasant on the phone and when I pick up. I have never had to wait for my order either.

Made a reservation this evening for 10 of us. We were served quickly, our waitress was friendly and fast and took excellent care of us. The food was absolutely delicious! The décor was nice and the restaurant was clean. We are very much looking forward to another family meal at this location. Highly recommended!

Went to Chili’s tonight with my family for dinner. They sat us down quickly but there was some confusion on who served us after 10 minutes my husband went and spoke with the manager who came over and apologized. After the confusion at the beginning everything came out quickly and tasted great. They gave us a free appy and dessert for all as while my husband a free beer for the mistake. We love this Chili’s have always got great service and food and will return. Sunday — Thursday the 2 can dine for $ 25 or $ 30 is a great deal.

Service was prompt and considerate however the quality of the food leaves something to be desired. Ordered the 2 entrees and an appetizer for $ 30. With two beers total came to $ 46 for two people. Not bad, if the food was better. Started with the jalapeño cheese balls. Definitely the highlight of my meal. Deep fried cheese though has always been a weakness of mine. Service was a bit rushed though it seemed as me and my friend had only made it through half of our appetizer before our meal was served. I had the steak fajitas. Very generous portion however that’s where my appreciation for this dish ends. Very bland and unseasoned steak and veggies. Fajitas should have some flavour in my opinion and a hint of lime of which there was none. As well the set for this dish, which is served to you on a hot plate with a build your own setting of tortillas, salsa, sour cream, lettuce and cheese, really leaves something to be desired. First off, there is enough steak and veg to fill 5 – 6 of the little tortillas they bring you. Second off the teaspoon of cheese they give you is enough for half a fajita at best. Lots of fresco style salsa which is nice, but that is the only quantity in the setting that matches with the amount of steak and veg served. In all it was a pretty big disappointment for a restaurant I had heard good things about. On a side not part of my party ordered the nachoes. What a rip off! About 15 nachoes for $ 14 although each is covered with nacho stuff, but definitely not worth it.

Visited this location for lunch with a friend. We decided to try The Two can Dine for $ 30. We both choose the Caesar salad for a starter, which was fine. We then choose the 6 ounce steak with mashed potatoes and a side of veggies. The steak was done just right and the potatoes were hot and tasty. The portion was large and we had no room for desert. The service was very good, we were not kept waiting upon arrival. We received our menus, drinks and food in a timely fashion. Would visit this Restaraunt again in the future. Note: The two can dine special is not offered on weekends.

After a long weekend of moving in the rain, I decided to take my friends and family who had so generously helped me all weekend long by hauling my stuff across the city in bad weather, to dinner as a thank you for their hard work. I now see why this place has such a poor rating. I orderd a hi-ball to drink and I ordered it tall. There was I reason I ordered it that way, because the liquor I was drinking at the time was particularily strong and needed a little more soda to be palatable. It came out in a regular hi-ball glass and I informed our waitress, she argued«you should have ordered it tall if that is what you wanted.» She evidently wasn’t paying attention as all 8 of the people with me distinctly remember me asking her to mix it in a particular fashion. Our waitress was inexperienced at best and our food was not very good for the price. When our food first arrived at our table, one of my friends nearly burnt her hands after a server placed an extremely hot dish she was carrying into my friends hands without warning. She actually nearly spilt her food all over the place in a desperate attempt to get the burning hot plate out of her hands. I complained to the server but she didn’t bother to get the manager. At the end of this disappointing meal in which no one checked on our food quality, I spoke with the manager. Even despite the fact his undertrained employee almost burnt my friend, he didn’t appear to be geniunely concerned and offered me 5% off my overall bill of over $ 100.00. When I told him that was unacceptable, he simply retorted with, «take it or leave it.» Though I had it in mind just to walk out, I paid the bill after he took of the 5% and let him know that I would never set foot in Chili’s again. Avoid this place at all costs.

Good taste, good service, huge portions! Very surprising given that our expectations of a chain restaurant weren’t high, we both left there planning to return.

The Boss loves the Texas Bulldog at Chili’s and if you don’t go there and try it your not Boss approved. The chicken wings are tasty too.

Chili’s is not a place that I would actively choose to go to. I’ve been to this one twice and both times, it was not my call. I find Chili’s to be a typical chain restaurant here in Edmonton. There is nothing unique or fantastic about it. It’s just there. They have decent food but it’s nothing to brag about. It’s average, just like the service. Their prices are high considering what you get for them. The servers are never very friendly and so I don’t often tip well — which is hard for me not to since I’m a server myself. Chili’s is average. Nothing special. Advice? Skip it and go somewhere that wows you. Because Chili’s will never wow.

My boyfriend and I were driving around last night thinking where should we go to eat? I had suggested Chili’s, but he mentioned that the food was not worth the price and so we drove around a little more. After stopping at a couple restaurants and either hating the menu or hating the price, we went to Chili’s and sucked up the price. To our surprise, we really enjoyed our meal this time. We both ordered fajitas, he ordered the steak and I ordered the chicken. We just shared the whole thing and we were both so satisfied. Our service wasn’t great or horrible, somewhere in between. And the place was packed with families! I guess we looked past the fact that the next day was a holiday and it was the end of spring break. The meal ended up costing us $ 46 before tip. I paid with debit and the machine came up with an option of tipping 18% which I found pretty bizarre. I don’t think I have ever found the service 20% worthy at Chili’s and I think they should have pre programmed 15% like most places. Setting our sights a little high there Chili’s. All in all, a good meal. But my boyfriend predicted correctly: Not worth the high cost.

I am not a very big fan of Chili’s. I don’t find the food to be anything special and I hate their nachos. They just place chips in a circle around a plate and have cheese on them. You basically get like 10 nachos. The reason I go to Chili’s is for the wings. Wing Wednesdays. I think they have some of the best hot wings in the city. They are so crispy, saucy and delicious. I could go for some right now.
